Two days after my last visit to the Legal Wall de Rouen ( see StreetArt #694), the two walls beneath this viaduct had already changed quite a bit. But it's true that the weekend of May 20 had an extra day with the Monday off. Still, it shows how much StreetArt activity there is. There's a second legal wall in Montreal, but as it's quite far from where I live, I've never been able to let you discover it, maybe this summer 🤞.

Deux jours après mon dernier passage au Mur Légal de Rouen ( voir StreetArt #694), les deux murs sous ce viaduc avaient déjà pas mal changé. Mais il est vrai que le weekend du 20 mai avait un jour de plus avec le lundi férié. Cela montre quand même l'activité StreetArt dans ce lieu. Il y a un deuxième mur légal à Montréal mais comme il est assez éloigné de chez moi, je n'ai jamais pu vous le faire découvrir, peut-être cet été 🙏.

Aldarwin with Omar Bernal have created this superb work surely influenced by @steven-patrick and the newts he always comes across on his walks 😀 (see his post Eastern Newt).

Pou Chi, Titre Provisoire & Jade Bilodeau

We begin the usual tour with a "Sphynx cat" done by Montreal-based artist and illustrator Pou Chi. I don't think this is the first time I've seen her work, but the first time I've named her in the StreetArt series. Always easier when there's a signature 😀.

Nous commençons le tour habituel avec un "chat Sphynx" réalisé par Pou Chi, artiste et illustratrice basée à Montréal. Je pense que ce n'est pas la première fois que je vois son travail mais la première que je la nomme dans la série StreetArt. Toujours plus facile quand il y a une signature 😀.

Another new artist for the StreetArt series is Titre Provisoire (maybe Working Title), which is her "permanent" artist name. Beautiful abstract work... A nice flower follows whose artist's name I found at the end of writing this post but before publishing it. It was a close call. It's Jade Bilodeau.

Une autre artiste nouvelle pour la série StreetArt, il s'agit du Titre Provisoire qui est son nom d'artiste "permanent". Belle œuvre abstraite... Une très jolie fleur suit dont j'ai trouvé le nom de l'artiste à la fin d'écrire ce post mais avant de le publier. C'était moins une. Il s'agit de Jade Bilodeau.

Aldarwin & Omar Bernal

Two Mexican-born artists now based in Montreal, Aldarwin and Omar Bernal have created this superb work. The blue monster with its organic form is Aldarwin's new style.

Les deux artistes originaires du Mexique et maintenant installés à Montréal, Aldarwin et Omar Bernal ont réalisé cette superbe œuvre. Le monstre bleu au forme organique est le nouveau style de Aldarwin.

And in the middle, Omar Bernal painted this magnificent newt listening to his music. Simply superb, it's my favorite of the day.

Et au milieu, Omar Bernal a peint ce magnifique triton écoutant sa musique. Je le trouve simplement superbe. C'est mon coup de cœur de la journée.

Syrup

*We end this first wall with a lettering by Greisy (???) followed by a new work by Syrup with Gabriel Lenfesty and his superb "Coq de Rouen" (Rouen Rooster). Really talented at painting animals very realistically.

Nous terminons ce premier mur avec un lettrage de Greisy (???) suivi d'une nouvelle oeuvre de Syrup avec Gabriel Lenfesty et son superbe "Coq de Rouen". Vraiment très talentueux pour peindre de façon très réaliste les animaux.

And always Scan with his kind eye on this little world. / FR : Et toujours Scan qui observe de son œil bienveillant tout ce petit monde.

Crossing the de Rouen street, we find the collaboration of the K6 crew with on the left Axe, Monk.E and finally Korb (see StreetArt #694). Only a colored lettering was inserted in the middle of the work.

En traversant la rue de Rouen, on retrouve la collaboration du collectif K6 avec à gauche Axe, Monk.E et enfin Korb (voir StreetArt #694). Seul un lettrage coloré est venu s'insérer au milieu de l'oeuvre.

Mice & Hick

Two interesting letterings in the middle of this wall, the first (in white) was done by Mice (I think), and the next (in red) by Hick. I like the trash can, probably the work of SlamBoy.

Deux lettrages intéressant au milieu de ce mur, le premier (en blanc) a été fait par Mice (enfin je pense), et le suivant (en rouge) par Hick. J'aime bien la poubelle surement l'œuvre de SlamBoy.

And that's it for this May 21 at the Legal Wall de Rouen. A favorite work ? Although I think I already know your answer 😀.

Et voilà cela fait le tour de ce 21 mai au Mur Légal de Rouen. Une œuvre préférée ? Bien que je pense déjà connaitre votre réponse 😀.
