Still the same two walls used by the TRU and LTG collectives during the same month of September. Lots of pre-winter activity, even though it's not yet cold in Montreal. It's been raining for the past few days, and the weather has been gray. Fortunately, the artists are putting some color on the walls, the third change in the same month (previous posts : StreetArt #656 and StreetArt #659).

Toujours les deux mêmes murs utilisés par les collectifs TRU et LTG pendant le même mois de septembre. Beaucoup d'activité avant l'hiver bien que le froid ne s'est pas encore installé sur Montréal. Nous avons le droit à de la pluie depuis quelques jours, un temps bien gris. Heureusement que les artistes mettent un peu de couleurs sur les murs, le troisième changement dans le même mois (les versions précédentes StreetArt #656 et StreetArt #659).

But don't worry, in 2024 I'm not going to bother you with these walls 😀 . The building was destroyed during the month of December. As the temperatures were above 0°, I took my bike for a ride around the neighborhood. But to my surprise, all that was left was a pile of rubble 😭. So, there will only be 2 or 3 posts left on this spot.

Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, en 2024 je ne vais pas vous embêter avec ce mur 😀 . Le bâtiment a été détruit pendant le mois de décembre. Comme les températures étaient au dessus de 0°, j'ai pris mon vélo pour aller faire un tour du quartier. Mais à ma grande surprise, il ne restait qu'un tas de gravas 😭. Il ne va rester que 2 ou 3 posts sur ce spot.

WHO

We start our stroll at the first wall in the alley parallel to Ontario Street. / FR : Nous commençons notre balade par le premier mur dans la ruelle parallèle à la rue Ontario.

Hest

The first lettering is by Hest aka The Wild Child, an artist active since 1989 and a regular here. Always great lettering from this artist.

Le premier lettrage est de Hest aka The Wild Child, artiste actif depuis 1989 et un habitué des lieux. Toujours de superbes lettrages avec cet artiste.

Peack

Right next door, it's Peack aka Qepy with a slightly crazier, more organic style. / FR : Juste à coté, il s'agit de Peack aka Qepy avec un style un peu plus fou et organique.

Qepy is followed by Cam, a typography lover with a degree in graphic design. After a few years in a design agency in Toronto, he's now having fun on the walls with these beautiful letterings.

Il est suivi par Cam, un amoureux de la typographie avec un diplôme en graphisme. Après quelques années dans une agence de design à Toronto, il s'amuse sur les murs avec ces lettrages de toute beauté.

Hozek

This first wall ends with Hozek, a member of LTG whose lettering has unfortunately been crossed. This is the first time I've seen this on these two walls. Next to it, I think the crocodile is by Hoar, that's his style but I'm not sure. The cat at the top 🔽 has been there for a few years, an old version of the Halloween-style wall.

Ce premier mur se termine avec Hozek, membre de LTG dont malheureusement le lettrage a été taggué. C'est la première fois que je vois cela sur ces deux murs. A côté, je pense que le crocodile est de Hoar, c'est son style mais je n'en suis pas certain. Le chat au sommet 🔽 est là depuis quelques années, une ancienne version du mur style Halloween.

We now move on to the other wall which descends to the Legal Wall of Rouen. / FR : Nous passons maintenant sur l'autre mur qui descend vers le Mur Légal de Rouen.

Hank

I really like this lettering done by Hawk, style and color palette are perfect for me 😀 . So I took a few close-up photos to admire the work.

J'aime beaucoup ce lettrage réalisé par Hawk, style et palette de couleurs sont parfaites pour moi 😀 . Alors j'ai pris quelques photos de près pour admirer le travail.

EkSept

And what would these two walls be without a lettering or two by EkSept. Every week, he creates a new lettering, trying out a new style. Always reinventing himself 🙏.

Et que serait ces deux murs sans un ou deux lettrages fait par EkSept. Chaque semaine, il réalisé un nouveau lettrage en essayant un nouveau style. Toujours en train de se réinventer.
