Street Art #593 Waxhead, Montreal
I had a folder on my computer with all the works done by Waxhead that I was saving to complete an article on a larger mural. But I've been saving these pictures for a while, it's time to share them to show you all the talent and imagination of this artist.
In the alley near Du Parc Avenue in Montreal that I nicknamed the "Waxhead Alley" because many collaborations are located there.

This is not my first post about this artist. But it's been a long time since I've talked about him so here's a short biography. Waxhead is a Toronto based artist who has been active for almost a decade now. He moved to Montreal in 2012 to continue to develop his distinct style in the streets of the city but also in his studio, he now makes many paintings and sculptures.
Waxhead uses several mediums to create his works, including pieces of wood like this snake and head.
I just noticed that I really had a lot of articles on Waxhead.

That's a lot, isn't it? I finished this post with two last pieces including my favorite of the series which highlighted how well the Canadiens (Montreal NHL team) did during the Series in 2021. That won't be the case this year as the team doesn't even qualify for the Playoffs* 😥.

The one that looked like snake actually got me amazed. It looks very real and beautiful
The wooden works are pretty cool... it's strange that nobody took them, there are still on the streets. Enjoy your day.
Really cool works. Someone should trim those leaves so people can see them better! 🤭
I should have taken the picture this winter, no more leaves 😀
Have a great thursday.

Beautiful art 😍💕
Always cool to see a new work of this artist, very talented with a lot of imagination. Enjoy your day.
Maybe the priest at the end should be blessing the Canadiens for next year 🤷♂️
The Canadiens are going to need it... because the team is in "full reconstruction".
