Sticker Art #066 Hand Made Stickers, Montreal
It's been a while since I've talked about stickers. But during Montreal's "StreetArt Cold Season". Yesterday felt like -26 (-15F) during the day, no one's going to paint in the streets with those temperatures. So it's perfect for sorting and editing photos taken during warmer days. So here's a series of handmade stickers done by Cess Pool and Baze.
Cela faisait quelques temps que je n'avais pas parlé d'autocollants. Mais pendant la Saison Froide du StreetArt à Montréal. Hier ressenti -26 en journée, personne ne va peindre dans les rues avec ces températures. Alors c'est parfait pour trier et éditer les photos prises lors des beaux jours. Alors voilà une série d'autocollants faits main par Cess Pool et Baze.

Baze
Montreal-based artist Baze is as prolific as ever with his favorite character, an ever-smoking punk. I love his self-mockery with this sticker 🔼 and the phrase “Is this the only thing you can draw? ” 😀
Baze, artiste basé à Montréal est toujours aussi prolifique avec son personnage préféré, un punk toujours en train de fumer. J'aime bien son auto dérision avec ce sticker 🔼 et la phrase "Est-ce la seule chose que tu peux dessiner ?" 😀
In fact, you'll often find the same character in the same posture, just little details change. As Baze makes all his stickers by hand, they're all different. Impressive... / FR : On retrouve en effet souvent le même personnage dans la même posture, juste des petits détails changent. Comme Baze fait tous ses autocollants à la main, ils sont tous différents.
It's incredible how many stickers he produces. I often come across his work on the streets of the Plateau or in downtown Montreal. / FR : C'est incroyable le nombre d'autocollants qu'il produit. Je croise très souvent ses oeuvres dans les rues du Plateau ou au centre ville à Montréal.
CessPool
Another prolific Montreal-based artist is CessPool. He also does all his stickers by hand. I've done numerous posts on this artist, see Sticker Art #006 or Sticker Art #023. His style evolves...
Un autre artiste assez prolifique basé à Montréal est CessPool. Lui aussi fait tous ses autocollants à la main. J'ai fait de nombreux posts sur cet artiste, voir Sticker Art #006 ou Sticker Art #023. Son style évolue...
His latest stickers are pretty simple, just a few strokes to make a figure. You can see both styles in the photo below right 🔽. He had an Instagram account in the past uneventful_dystopia, since closed. However, his Bandcamp is still active, TRBLMKR. Not my style of music...
Ses derniers autocollants sont plutôt simples, seulement quelques traits pour faire une figure. On peut voir les deux styles dans la photo ci dessous à droite 🔽.
