Winter in Montreal is the "cold season" for StreetArt. New murals and graffiti disappear. It's true that to paint a wall at night at -20°, takes quite a dose of courage (or madness 😀). The winter months allow me to sort the photos during the rest of the year and find some information about the artists. But the stickers keep appearing during these cold and dark months. Today, I'd like to present a short series on a group of Toronto artists who like to spend a few days in Montreal from time to time.

En hiver sur Montréal, c'est la "saison froide" pour le StreetArt. Les nouvelles murales ou graffiti se font rares. Il est vrai que de peindre un mur la nuit à -20°, il faut une sacrée dose de courage (ou de folie 😀). Les mois d'hiver me permettent de ranger, trier les photos pendant le reste de l'année et trouver quelques informations sur les artistes. Mais les autocollants continuent d'apparaitre pendant ces mois froids et sombres. Aujourd'hui, je vous propose une petite série sur un groupe d'artistes de Toronto qui aiment passer de temps en temps quelques jours à Montréal.

All over Montreal, but especially near boulevard Saint-Laurent between Sherbrooke metro and avenue Mont-Royal.

Un peu partout à Montréal mais surtout proche du boulevard Saint-Laurent entre le métro Sherbrooke et l'avenue Mont-Royal.

Urban Ninja

As most of the artists were featured in my previous post Sticker Art #042, you can find a short bio of Urban Ninja, a Toronto-based artist. He likes to stick his ninja in every possible situation, as you can see. I like the Batman version of Ty Pro 🔼 with a flower done by Life on the right.

Comme la majorité des artistes ont fait parti de mon post précédent Sticker Art #042, vous pouvez y retrouver une courte bio de Urban Ninja, artiste de Toronto. Il aime coller son ninja dans toutes les situations possibles comme vous pouvez le constater. J'aime bien la version Batman de Ty Pro 🔼* avec sur la droite une fleur de Life.*

Bruho

I'll leave you to look for the Mexican wrestler on these two pillars, the favorite character of Bruho, also from Toronto. I generally like his work with its mix of old photos and Mexican wrestling (see Sticker Art #042).

Je vous laisse cherche sur ces deux piliers ou se trouve le catcheur mexicain, personnage préféré de Bruho, lui aussi de Toronto. J'aime bien généralement ses œuvres avec le mélange de vieilles photos et lutte mexicaine (à voir Sticker Art #042).
