Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #222 organisé comme toujours par @digi-me avec cette oeuvre qui décore le mur d'un dépanneur dans le quartier de Hochelaga à Montréal. Il s'agit d'une collaboration de HLy et MaxLKS.

I took these photos in early spring this year, and was hoping to find some information about HLy or H+Ly but nothing.... So instead of waiting for a miracle, I posted 😀.

J'ai pris ces photos au début du printemps de cette année, et j'espérais trouver des informations sur HLy ou H+Ly mais rien... Alors au lieu d'attendre un miracle, j'ai préféré poster 😀.

WHERE

This mural is on the wall of the “Marché de Quartier” convenience store on Dézéry Street in Montreal. It's on my way to work when I cycle past the Legal Wall de Rouen.

Cette murale se trouve le mur du dépanneur "Marché de Quartier" sur la rue Dézéry à Montréal. Elle est sur mon chemin quand je vais au travail en vélo en passant par le Mur Légal de Rouen.

MaxLKS & HLy

As I said in the introduction, I couldn't find any information about HLy. This is the second time I've come across this artist's work with this shed in the same neighborhood (see StreetArt #682). The only certainty is that the characters, such as the squirrels and the cat, are by his/her hand.

­> Comme je le disais en introduction, je n'ai pas trouvé d'information au sujet HLy. C'est la deuxième fois que je crois les oeuvres de cet(te) artiste avec cette remise dans le même quartier (voir StreetArt #682). La seule certitude c'est que les personnages comme les écureuils et le chat sont de sa main.

MaxLKS is also well represented in the neighborhood, especially at the Legal Wall de Rouen. That's how I was able to make the connection thanks to the style of the birds. His Instagram motto is "Birds, life. Life with birds “ so it's normal to find them in all his murals.

MaxLKS est aussi bien présent dans le quartier surtout au Mur Légal de Rouen. C'est comme cela que j'ai pu faire le rapprochement grâce aux style des oiseaux. Sa devise sous Instagram est "Birds, life. Life with birds" alors normal de les retrouver dans toutes ses murales.

A few months ago, the Legal Wall de Rouen had a beautiful work whose name I hadn't marked. It was MaxLKS, the style is recognizable despite the absence of birds (see StreetArt #698). I'm contradicting my previous sentence which proves it's true, doesn't it? 😀

Il y a quelques mois le Mur Légal de Rouen avait une belle oeuvre dont je n'avais pas marqué de nom. Il s'agissait bien de MaxLKS, le style est reconnaissable malgré l'absence d'oiseaux (voir StreetArt #698). Je suis en contradiction avec ma phrase précédente ce qui prouve sa véracité, non ? 😀
