CCC's Street Art Contest #212 Filco, Montreal

For the CCC's Street Art Contest #212, I'm showing you a wall that dates back several years but was restored not long ago. It's a work done by Filco, truly magnificent with these slightly "phantasmagorical" animals. It changes this alley completely, and I can see why it was restored.

Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #212, je vous propose un mur qui date de plusieurs années mais qui a été restauré il n'y a pas longtemps. Il s'agit d'une œuvre de Filco, vraiment magnifique avec ces animaux légèrement fantasmagoriques. Cela change complètement cette ruelle, je comprends pourquoi elle a été restaurée.

Philippe Coallier aka Filco is a Montreal-based artist and tattooist (co-owner of Deville Tattoo shop). He created this superb mural in 2021. Not far away in the neighborhood, he also created a tribute to his dogs, see CCC's Street Art Contest #180.

Philippe Coallier aka Filco est un artiste et tatoueur (copropriétaire du Deville Tattoo shop) basé à Montréal. Il a réalisé cette superbe murale en 2021. Pas très loin dans le quartier, il a aussi réalisé un hommage à ses chiens, voir CCC's Street Art Contest #180.

This mural is really superb with its three parts, from right to left, a fox with little horns, then a green insect and finally a blue bear with mushrooms on its back. This is my favorite part, really beautiful. And what's your favorite animal? I'll leave you a close-up photo of each animal to make your choice 🔽.

Cette murale est vraiment superbe avec ses trois parties, avec de droite à gauche, un renard avec de petites cornes, puis un insecte vert et enfin un ours bleu avec sur son dos des champignons. C'est ma partie préférée, vraiment magnifique. Et pour vous, quelle est votre animal préféré ? Je vous laisse un photo en gros plan de chaque animal pour faire votre choix.
