Bryan Beyung

Born in Montreal and of Chinese-Cambodian origin, Bryan Beyung is an artist and designer who oscillates between figurative and abstract art. In his work, he likes to explore themes linked to his multicultural heritage.

Né à Montréal et d'origine sino-cambodgienne, Bryan Beyung est un artiste et designer qui oscille entre art figuratif et abstrait. Dans son travail, il aime explorer les thèmes liés à son héritage multiculturel.

At beginning of the Mural Festival, I caught a glimpse of the artist at work, with just the top of the mural beginning to be colored. Below, you can see the outline of his composition. Always interesting to see the creative process.

Au début du Mural Festival, j'ai pu apercevoir l'artiste en plein travail avec juste le haut de la murale qui commençait à être coloré. En dessous, on peut observer les grandes lignes de sa composition. Toujours intéressant de voir les étapes de création.

This mural is entitled “Light and hauntings. Humans and stupidity”. It was created in partnership with the NGO Humanité et Inclusion for its 'Stop Bombing Civilians' campaign. With all the conflicts that exist these days, it would be nice if this message were heard 🙏. Bryan was helped to create this huge wall by Kaori Izumiya based on a photograph by Mahmud Hams, a Palestinian photojournalist. Really interesting wall with this message.

Cette murale s'intitule "Lumière et hantises. Humains et bêtises". Elle a été créée en partenariat avec l'ONG Humanité et Inclusion pour sa campagne 'Stop Bombing Civilians' (Stop aux Bombardements de Civils). Avec tous les conflits qu'il existent de nos jours, cela serait bien que ce message soit écouté. Il a été aidé pour réaliser cet énorme mur de Kaori Izumiya d'après une photographie de Mahmud Hams, un journaliste photographe palestinien. Vraiment intéressant comme mur avec ce message.
