My Journey To Delta State, Nigeria.

Hello everyone, today i want to tell you all about my journey to asaba and my experience.

Yesterday being the 2nd of Nov 2023 I left my home town Port Harcourt, Rivers State to Asaba, Delta state.

I stay in okrika in Rivers State and today I'm going to tell you about my experience, i couldn't document much due to low battery so I'll just tell you briefly how it went.

I woke up early at 4am finished packing my bags and started my Journey at around 7am, i took a bike down to the waterside and took a wooden engine boat to cross the river there i took a bus down to the park.

When i got to the park, I saw different people with different lifestyles, some were loaders(People that load buses), some were marketers that sells items to passengers and other individuals, I saw various transport companies and their conductors looking for passengers to enter their bus, they even dragged me 🤣🤣🤣 but I insisted that i had already picked my ticket for a particular company.

When I got the transport company of my choice which is called Rivers Joy, I went straight down to the counter to get my ticket and paid for it, had to wait extra 2hrs for thr bus to be full so i spent my waiting time to charge my phone a little so i can call to inform the person i was going to visit that I'm on my way.

Finally the bus was full and we started the journey, it's roughly a 4hours journey without holdups though, we left Port Harcourt by 9am and on our way we were stopped by police for their normal routine at every checkpoint they had to search our bag and my Nigerian friends knows what comes next sha 🤣🤣🤣 but at one particular checkpoint they had to make us all come down from the bus because the driver had an incomplete paper but thank God we had an army man that pleaded on our behalf.

When we finally got to asaba at around 1pm i unloaded my bag booked a keke(tricycle) to my destination but it was too costly so i paired with a lady who agreed to help me out and when i was close to my destination I came down and booked another keke down to where i can book an okada to my destination.

I almost got lost in Delta state cause its been a while since i last visited and the place and they have changed a lot of things around, when i finally got home, the first thing i did was to visit the kitchen for food thank God i found beans and later that night I took a stroll down to the junction to get bread for the house and we ate and discussed, i also met two new hive members in the house which is going to be fun.

Having them around will make me to put work on hive and ensure i do my best here.
