Greetings to the entire Liketu community and SWC members! Today I want to share with you a workout focused on strengthening the fundamentals of static exercises, a great way to close the week with energy and determination.
As many know, mastering the lower progressions in exercises like the plank is key to building a solid foundation and moving on to more complex movements, since by focusing on control and stability in these positions, we not only strengthen our core muscles, but also improve our posture, balance, and coordination.
On this day, my focus was to work on volume in the lower progressions like the tuck advance and the free-form tuck plank, so I performed 6 sets of levers and 6 sets of push-ups of these 2 exercises to ensure mastery and control in the proper use of the plank.
One of the great foundations of this training lies in the exponential growth to strengthen the deltoids, biceps and the Core, which is of great importance to achieve the muscular resistance that I am looking for and then be able to transfer this strength to more advanced progressions.
Another important factor in training these basics of the static plank lies in the prevention of injuries and the significant increase in strength, so I recommend mastering each progression if what you want is to advance faster, taking into account working progression by progression to guarantee a safe advance without stagnation, but above all, thanks to this, you will be able to master greater control and mastery in the future to transfer it to any variant of the plank.
