Trip To Nagarkot - A Heavenly Place For Nature Lovers
Travelling is one of the best experiences we can have as humans. We get to go out and explore the world and everything it as to offer, like new places, food, cultures, people, their stories and so much more. This way we can learn a lot about life itself. It truly is something else.
Recently I took a short trip to one of the many heavenly places in Nepal - Nagarkot. Basically it is known for its sunrise and sunsets and also for the exquisite views of the Himalayan range. It’s about 32km east from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
It’s the perfect destination for a getaway which can totally relax you and leave you feeling so much better and happy. As it is a hill station, it also serves as a very peaceful place for nature lovers.
Last weekend, I was looking for some relaxation myself and wanted to be with mother nature, so I decided to visit there. My journey started in the morning and it took us about 2 hours to reach our destination. There are many hotels and resorts there but we decided to stay in the Mystic Mountain hotel which is a recent addition.
The hotel really looks beautiful, doesn’t it?
As soon as we checked into our rooms, I decided to head out and explore. The view of the nature outside was amazing and the view inside the hotel was pretty on point too! So, I am going to share some photos of the same.
After a bit of walking around, we began feeling a little hungry and decided to check out the hotel’s restaurant. The food was amazing, the place was amazing and the ambience was just out of the world.
Simple and elegant ambience. Just the way I like it.
After that I relaxed a little, because that’s the whole point of even going to a place like this. By nightfall, I was out again and tried my hand at some night time photography. Here they are:
So, that was the end of day one. The next morning, I woke up and saw that the whole place was filled with fog. I missed the sunrise due to this but managed to capture some beautiful shots of the nature surrounding this place.
So, that was the end of the my short little trip to Nagarkot. If you ever visit Kathmandu, make sure that you check this place out too and also this particular hotel. I’m sure you will have a great time.
