The embracing tradition of our country "BASANT FESTIVAL"

Actually, Basant is a festival in Pakistan that people celebrate. It is a kite-flying festival, and the celebration takes place every year in the season of spring. In this festival, people fly full-color kites with different designs and shapes. On the day of this festival, the sky is full of kites, and people enjoy flying kites.

A huge crowd of people, including men and women of all ages, participate in flying kites. They compete with each other. Basant is an enjoyable festival for the people of our country as well as for foreigners and tourists who also enjoy this great festival. Tonight I went to buy some really beautiful and colorful kites for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is basant in our country. I am really excited for this festival because it is my favorite and I have been celebrating it since my childhood. I, together with my friends and cousins, celebrate this exciting festival by flying various kites. Moreover, there is also great food, folk art, dancing, and singing. Our streets are filled with enthusiastic people flying kites everywhere.

They also fly kites on the terrace, on the roofs, and even on the ground. The sky is dotted with thousands of kites of different shapes and sizes, which looks really amazing.
