Phone Photography Contest #35: Christmas is Around the Corner

It's another week to join @untilwelearn's Phonography / Phone Photography Contest . This mobile photography challenge is really fun and encouraging for me.

Just like last week, I'll also share some macro photographs today. And since Christmas is around the corner, I decided to take photos of our Christmas decor at home.

My father usually volunteers to do the decorating. He decorated the outside of our living room windows. It's especially beautiful at night.

After we did our morning exercise earlier, I went back out to take some photos.

For the photos I'm sharing today, I used my phone and a detachable macro lens for phones. In addition, I also enhanced the photos on Photoscape X. I hope you like them. :)

First, let me show you regular photos... meaning, without the macro lens. :)

They're all old ornaments. We've used some of them a few Christmases now. However, they're carefully kept so they're still very pretty. Now, let me show you the macro photography I did.

They're all so glittery!!! I had to adjust the sharpness for most of them because they're quite blurry. As mentioned earlier, I used a macro lens instead of the built-in macro camera on my phone. I did so so that the quality would be better.

The built-in macro lens is useful, but the quality of the photo isn't as good as the regular lens... I'm glad I found my old macro lens after cleaning my room last Sunday. hahahaha

Anyway, I also edited some photos showing the macro photos and the original item where I took them from. Check them out below.

I enjoyed taking these photos... and it so happened that two of my students were absent this morning that's why I was able to do the editing sooner than expected. :)

I hope you enjoyed checking out these photos. See you around and take care always! (^^,)/
