What's Bitcoin’s Future and Is Bitcoin the New Gold or Not?

Arthur Hayes has been making some predictions about what will happen to Bitcoin in the future and he's not the only one. Some see a bright future and others think that it might end up being controlled by big companies like BlackRock and the Government.

one thing we've realized is that War drives Bitcoin up. We’ve already seen markets react to crises before. Arthur Hayes made a point about the Arab oil embargo and the Iranian revolution and how it made the price of gold skyrocketed.

But I think his only right if Bitcoin behaves just like gold does. So is Bitcoin the new digital gold? And do you think it will follow the same path as gold does? Maybe it might.

Usually when governments especially the US government print more money to fund wars, Bitcoin’s limited supply becomes the safe haven for those that fear inflation. But Bitcoin is not some traditional currency, it's crypto so do not forget that it's very volatile. I wouldn't see something that is volatile as a safe haven.

Yes Bitcoin Bull runs could happen under the right circumstances but the opposite can happen and you just can predict crypto to well.

It's also very true that energy prices usually spike during crises, remember the Russia and Ukraine war, it affected the price of has and oil so much I was shocked. Just the ego or fear of Putin could cause me to spend more gas money. The markets get chaotic when war happens.

The war is on going and could get worse but if you're thinking this is your chance to get rich from a possible Bitcoin Bull run, just remember that the same volatility that could send Bitcoin up could also bring it down.

And there's this whole thing about Bitcoin outperforming the Fed’s balance sheet by 25,000% which looks pretty impressive on paper but don't judge the future by history alone, life is very unpredictable. There is no guarantee it will repeat itself, especially with the world in such disarray. Anything can happen.
