Menulis ID Community's First Anniversary and HIVE Introduction

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to @machiatta, who invited me to the first anniversary of the Menulis ID Group, also to the activists and personnel of the Menulis ID community (@menulisid), as well as @arveno who attended and @ekavieka who informed me that there was a meeting to introduce Hive at a cafe called Komunitas in Surabaya, last Sunday, January 26, 2025.

As far as I know, this is a historic event in the world of Hive, especially for the city of Surabaya, because this is an event related to Hive that is held in this city. Honestly, I see that this is actually Hive that is "piggybacking" on the Menulis ID community's birthday event, even so, the idea of ​​holding a Menulis ID Community meeting combined with an introduction event regarding the Hive blog platform is a pretty good idea.

So it is only right that the Hive community thanks the Menulis ID community and @machiatta along with the sponsors behind it, who have provided financial assistance, energy, and time to introduce Hive.

In this event, the Menulis ID community invited a journalist from Kompas media named Ira Rachmawati, who gave a brief introduction to writing like a journalist. She shared her experiences while carrying out her duties as a journalist.

Honestly, for me, the short time of maybe two hours is not enough to explain clearly and completely about writing like a journalist.

After this event, I, @arveno and @machiatta had a chat and discussion about the Indonesian community in Hive. Actually, we agree that the Indonesian Hivers are still not solid and we agree to develop friendships and try to create a positive atmosphere in Hive for Indonesian users and communities to feel at home and active in Hive.
