Hive power up day: First dive into the pool

My hive power-up day didn’t go as I have planned at the beginning of the previous month, but it is what it is. This is the first PUD I will be participating in, you must be wondering why I’m saying this after talking about my first PUD last month.

It was with excitement that I welcome the message from Hivebuzz about my Power up for the month of September, I wondered how and when I powered up my hive and concluded that it was an automatic action.

“Maybe the site power up for users based on their earnings,” I said to myself.
Little did I know that it was ate @jane1289 that powered up for me. I saw the notification later and laughed at my ignorance. That day, I promised to power up at least 50 hives in the coming month, with the hope that my earnings will be better for the month. Knowing the advantage of joining the PUD I anticipated the next, but things didn’t go as planned.

Due to the preparation for my sister’s wedding and the engagement I have all through the week I wasn’t able a post every day and my engagement wasn’t as good as I’d wanted. I wrote just 11 posts and it wasn’t satisfactory at all, though I try as much as possible to read a few posts every day and drop some comments it didn’t have much effect. Spent money on ecency points for boosting and promoting my post and that of a few friends. My goal of powering up 50 Hive this month went out of the roof.

I was left with 2 options, spend all my August earnings to power this month or just cut my coat according to my cloth. I went for the latter and converted some HBD to hive and powered up 15 Hive some hours back.


It was still a great month
Though I couldn't increase my HP and every other blogging activity also slowed down in September, things was great in other aspects. I started another online programme and got a few jobs. The best part was my sister’s wedding which was a great success. We will be hosting the couples tomorrow and it promises to be a great event.

I thought I won't miss my sister since we are hardly together at home for some years now but I can’t deny it any longer, I miss her and look forward to seeing her tomorrow.

I hope this month won’t be as choking as the previous months and will yield a better result for me. I will try as much as possible to increase my engagement and I’m sure things will change for the better. Cheers to a new month.
