Koleje Królestwa Bez Kresu [PL/ENG]

PL: Dziś wydałem dekret, na mocy którego powstały Koleje KBK (@kkbk). Ich celem jest rozbudowa infrastruktury kolejowej w całym Królestwie i docelowo połączenie Szafy ze zmywarką (aby to zrobić potrzeba conajmniej 17 metrów torów). Na razie jest dość skromnie. Mamy ~3 metry torów. Do tego lokomotywę Baureihe 119 i trzy wagony towarowe (tzw. węglarki). Zakupiłem je ze środków Funduszu Rozwojowego. Świetnie nadają się do przewozu ziarna kakao i hifromów.

ENG: Today, I published the decree that created the KBK Railways (@kkbk). Their aim is to expand the railway infrastructure throughout the Kingdom and ultimately to connect the Wardrobe to the Dishwasher (at least 17 metres of track is needed to do this). So far it is quite modest. We have ~3 metres of track. There is also a Baureihe 119 locomotive and three freight wagons. I purchased them with funds from the Development Fund. They are great for transporting cocoa beans and hefroms.

PL: A skąd w ogóle taki pomysł? Otóż, już jakiś czas temu pomyślałem, że fajnie byłoby transportować do kuchni czyste naczynia ze zmywarki za pomocą kolejki. Po krótkiej zadumie doszedłem jednak do wniosku, że nie wszystko co fajne jest praktyczne. Koncepcja ta wymagałaby położenia na stałe torów, a to z kolei utrudniałoby poruszanie się i sprzątanie. Odrzuciłem więc ją dość szybko. Pomijam tu fakt, że trzeba byłoby mieć kolejkę w skali G, a te są dość drogie. W każdym razie ziarno padło na podatny grunt i zamiast budowania połączenia na linii kuchnia-zmywarka, zacząłem myśleć o tym, by kupić lokomotywę i tory w skali H0 (1:87). Cóż, kolejki to coś co każdy lubi, ale nie każdy ma, więc idealnie wpisuje się w założenia KBK jako miejsca wyjątkowego.

ENG: And where did this idea even come from?Well, some time ago I thought it would be cool to transport clean dishes from the dishwasher to the kitchen using a rail. However, after a short thought, I came to the conclusion that not everything cool is practical. The concept would have required the installation of a permanent track, which in turn would have made moving and cleaning difficult. So I rejected it rather quickly. This ignores the fact that I would need to have a G scale railway and these are quite expensive. Anyway, the seed fell on fertile ground and instead of building a kitchen-dishwasher connection, I just started thinking about getting an H0 (1:87) scale locomotive and tracks. Well, railways are something everyone likes but not everyone has, so it fits perfectly with KBK's premise of being a unique place.

PL: Znając życie chodziłbym z tym pomysłem przez kolejne miesiące, trafiłem jednak na dość tanią kolejkę (630 PLN), zauważyłem, że jest tylko jedna sztuka, podjąłem więc szybko decyzję i kupiłem zestaw startowy. Jak już wspomniałem jest to lokomotywa Baureihe 119, zwana też U-Bootem. Produkowana była w Rumunii (na zamówienie NRD) w latach 1976-1985. Na początek idealne. Zwłaszcza, że wagony towarowe można wykorzystać w różny sposób. Tak jak i samą kolejkę...

ENG: I probably would have walked around with this idea for months to come, however, I came across a rather cheap railway (630 PLN), noticed that there was only one piece, so I made a quick decision and bought the starter set. As I have already mentioned it is a Baureihe 119 locomotive, also called U-Boot. It was produced in Romania (commissioned by the GDR) between 1976 and 1985, perfect for a start. Especially as the freight cars can be used in various ways. As well as the railway itself...

PL: Na razie tory poprowadzone są dookoła stołu do Novussa. Obok zbudowałem dworzec i kilka budynków. Nie jest to stała instalacja. Myślę, że połączenie kolejki i klocków daje spore pole manewru w tworzeniu krótkoterminowych makiet. Myślę też, żeby robić jakieś eventy dla dzieci, podczas których można by robić jakieś duże konstrukcje w głównej sali. Wymagałoby to na pewno dokupienia torów, ale mam nadzieję, że dzięki kontu @kkbk z czasem uda się zebrać na to środki.

ENG: For now, the tracks are routed around the Novuss game table. Next to it I have built a station and some buildings. This is not a permanent installation. I think the combination of railways and bricks gives a lot of room for manoeuvre in creating short-term mock-ups. I'm also thinking of doing some children's events where you could do some big constructions in the main room. This would definitely require the purchase of tracks, but I'm hoping with the @kkbk account to raise the funds for this over time.
