ZapFic Monday - Laser

Hey guys,

Like every Monday, I would like to contribute to the ZapFic Monday.
The prompt for today is Laser which made me ponder a bit longer than usual about what to write about.

Since I have no knowledge about lasers and didn't want to get too metaphorical (laser-focus), I opted for a mundane laser show at an amusement park. However, this laser show holds a dark twist in the life of a family.
I hope you like my approach. Have a good start to the week and see you next Monday.

It was the last evening of their week-long holiday in Disneyland.

The parade drove through Main Street and the kids waved to their favorite characters.
After that, it was time for the laser show.
Everything was perfect.
Margo looked at him while taking is hand and said: "I'm leaving you."
