Gown mandala| Creative Sunday

We all have some wishes that we make in childhood but as we get older our preferences changes and our interests too. But there is still a space for that old interest in your heart.

When i was kid i was so willing to be a dress designer but with the passage of time my interest changes and i moved towards business.

But still somewhere in my heart there's a corner for dress designing that's why when i have seen a sketch of a beautiful gown i found an attraction in it.

So today I decided to make something like that gown and mandala is my base art so how could i skip it.

So let's begin,

Procedure

I started making the design by doing outlining of the gown with the help of pencil and scale.

Video above is only for describing the process of outlining, do check if you're intrested to know deeply about how I made this outline.
.

In next step i used purple ballpoint to highlight the outlining.
I'm going to make a colorful gown that's why i chooses purple color.

Next i started designing the top of the gown, where i divided the top part in three parts; first where i made small circles, second where i made a little bigger circles and third where i made lines both vertically and horizontally.

Next i moved towards the bottom part of the gown which is divided into three layers... First one would be lightest and the last one would be darkest.

In first layer there are just a few flowers to make the first layer lighter than the other layers.

Next i started filling the second layer where i made some minimal design to make it look a little heavier than the first design.

This layer is depending on few complex yet easy designs, just few random lines will also be enough if you have one thing in mind that you have to make this layer slightly heavier than the first layer.

After that i made design on the other layers of the gown and i forgot to take picture of this step.

Next i started filling colors in the gown. I used light pink shade to be filled in the gown. And i used dark purple for filling color in the bottom of gown.

After completing the shading in gown i moved towards shading and designing the dupata(stoller) of the gown where i used minimal design. And i used red pencil color to fill color in dupata.

In last step i used pink ballpoint to fill some colors in the flowers on the sides of the gown.

And here is the final results 👇

That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon... bye bye🤪

This is a very nice dress I am sure if it was real it would look very nice but still you made it very well in the drawing it looks very attractive like the real dress.

I like how you paid attention to details in the video.

Good job! Hadia keep making your efforts 👍

In Pakistan, there are very few people who have skills in clothes design. I like this design and appreciate your sketch skills.

Thank you so much aslam for your kind words,
Clothes designing is a great skill with a great scope, but still only few people chose this as a field.
