FANART | MEDUSA

I watched a drama a long time ago in which I saw an episode about Medusa, a girl who was so beautiful and could turn anyone into stone with just one look, she had snakes on her head instead of hair.

I don't know if this is a fact or a myth but I don't believe in stories that a human girl has the ability to turn another human into stone with just one eye another thing I found strange about her. And what made me laugh so much was that he is immortal

But still we enjoyed hearing this kind of story when we were kids. I had never heard of Medusa in my childhood but if I had the opportunity to be a part of Medusa's conversation in my childhood, I would surely feel fear at these days because childhood is full of innocence.

There's no such inspiration to choose medusa character for fanart but after seeing Medusa's character in splinterlands cards i felt oh I know this character and her abilities.

A little bit about procedure

I was using Ibispaints for making my fanart. Which i have started with outlining.

It's famous about her eyes that these eyes can turn human into stone so these eyes needs to be bigger and beautiful.

Some extra details snakes just to make it look more realistic.

The color combination i used in body and other accessories are all taken from the original character.

Snakes were the combination of three shades of green. A darker one for shadow and the lightest one for bottom side of snake. Where some lines are indicating the lower side of snake.

End results of the character was not so satisfying as the dress was looking a little weird. But I'm just a beginner towards digital arts and there is still alot of things left for me to learn.
