Dead Soul Sketch | Creative Sunday

Sketching was always something that i loved and hated at the same time. I loved it because, i love things that can be made with just few tools and for sketching you just need a pencil. On the other side i hated it because i never got perfection in sketching even i practiced it alot and i have all best tools for doing sketching.

Since i have joined hive i worked on all types of arts i knew and practiced them. But i never worked on my sketching even this is the main skill in me according to people around me. But for it's not true I'm good at lots of things but sketching isn't one of them. That's why i rarely do sketching even if someone insists~ i carefully disagree their request.

Another reason why i never tried to post sketching in any community was that i didn't understand how can i explain the process of making sketch. Because sketching is all about shading and if i will start explaining i will surely meet words deficiency living inside me😂😂

Well today after a long time i wanted to do sketching. So, i started making one~ because i know a little delay can change my mind and i will start making doodles or anything else.

This sketch is of dead soul, moving towards the sky. I have some attraction towards death, God, Grave, and other such things~ don't know why. That's why when i see this sketch i have decided to make this.

Procedure

I started making sketch by doing outlining of the soul of human. I'm always bad at making fingers but i tried my best.

When i was done with the outlining i started shading legs of the dead soul with the pencil of 6B and i also used blender to give realistic look.

Next i shaded the rest of the body except the head area. The upper area of body needs to be less shaded and the lower area needs to be little more shaded. But i mixed the colors according to my choice.

When i was done with body, i started shading head of body. Where i also made ear using 4b pencil.

After shading body completely i started making some lines on the upper side of the body. These lines are showing the force that is pulling the soul towards sky.

In last i made some lines at the bottom side of the body. These lines looks like roots.
