CLAYART | Girl With Pearl Earrings ~ Creative Sunday
I have recently seen a post on Facebook about paintings with the dates when they were made and i have loved that paintings after few days when i was scrolling my pinterest so i found a cute doll having resemblance with the painting of girl with pearl earring.
I have saved that image to create that for this Creative Sunday and today I'm here with this doll.
Well here I'm going to share a worst review about the clay package i have recently bought, this clay is really too much sticky and soft... it was a great challenge for me to handle out this clay. I litterally forgot about the clay brand but it's a real disaster to handle.
I'm blaming clay for bad results because i know the final results are really so funny🤪 so let's move towards the procedure....,
Procedure
I have started making this doll with making a circle out of skin colored clay and also by attaching small ears on the circle.
After that i have mixed white clay with blue clay to make a lighter shade of blue. And then i have attached that clay on the head of the doll.
Then i mixed yellow clay with white clay and attached that clay on head. And here's our head area is almost done.
Then i have started making lover body of my doll, it's originally a Chinese or Japanese girl i think so that's why she was wearing their traditional dress, so i have also tried to make it like their traditional dress.
Then i have attached the arms of the doll where first i have attached white clay and then attached skin colored clay to give it good finishing.
Then i have used white clay and made small balls out of it, then i have attached small pins inside the balls so they can easy get attached to the ears.
In final step i have attached earings to the doll and it was looking pretty cool.
But wait🙂.... what is this under its eyes... ahhh it's probably a smiling face😬😬
I litterally tried my best here but this is what i got🥲🙁 and it's not easy to undo any step in clay works, especially of air dry clay😑
So this is the final results 👇 what do you think they have some resemblance or not???
That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon bye bye 😁 👋
The final look is not funny but beautiful. A lot of people can’t successfully work with a bad clay but you did it anyway and that’s admirable, well done.
That's true bad clay can turn your project so worst. But I'm glad you liked it.
