Clay Rat | Creative Sunday

Hey beautiful people,

I'm back with an amazing clay idea on this Sunday. Last sunday i have made a rat with white clay which was cute but had very less resemblance with the original cat so today i have decided to make one with the resemblance of original rat.

So i have mixed white clay with the black clay to get perfect color of the rat. I have mixed clay with the ratio of 2: 1 where i have used white clay more than black one.

Procedure

I have started the process by first molding the clay into a water drop shape and attaching some white clay on it in same design.

Then i have used same grey clay to make legs of the rat. Which is little bolder from one side and straight from the other side. Also i have made tiny foot designs with the help of clay knife.

Then i have attached a piece of cheese to the rat. For making this piece i have molded yellow clay into the shape of a triangular tube and made few holes in it.

Next i have attached hands to the body of rat which i have made with the same procedure as the rat's legs.

Next i have started making face of the rat. Where first i have molded clay into the shape of tear drop.

And after getting the base for face, first i have attached teeth and nose with white and black clay.

Then i have made ears of the rat, for making ears first i have molded clay into the shape of flat circle and than added some white clay over it. After that i have made aline in ears with clay knife and attached the ears to the face of rat.

In last step i have made eyes of the rat, where first i have attached white circle, than black, and than again white dot in the eyes.

And our beautiful rat is ready.
