The streets of Marrakesh! B&W - TRAVEL CONTEST #247
Hello Hiveians!
A black and white travel contest is a nice topic to start my series of my trip to the city of Marrakesh Morocco! I took so many pictures in that one week It were about 1500 in total! And that were only the pictures that I took with my camera! I also made many pictures with my telephone, 467 to be precise! 2000 in total! It could be worse!
But lets begin in the streets around the riad were we stayed! Small streets with sometimes many people and when you turn the corner, you find streets with nobody in there!
If you don't pay attention, you could be run over by motorcycles or bikes that drive crisscross trough the city!
But I really loved the small streets were nobody was that moment! And that was mostly at night!
The electric cables hanging on the walls and look a bit messy! That is because of the earthquake that hit this region in the beginning of 2023! I will make another post about that later on! Still many buildings were piles of rubble! and others still standing but supported by wooden beams!
But many stores and restaurants are finally opening again as the tourists slowly starting to come back!
Just so quiet!
The dog walker! I love this picture because it almost looks like he is looking at the English tourists in the back but thee is another dog walking behind the plants!

Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍
Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
The second photo is super!
I love the to, so simple and quiet 💪
The electrics cables that are looking messy is looking exactly how some arts of Nigerian cables look like
The pictures are lovely though
They were still busy cleaning and constructing from the earthquake.
I really love those street moments captured. These narrow streets remind of another place, as I haven't been to Marrakesh, yet, if I recall I'll drop another comment :)))
By the way, I am not sure if you are aware that the pinmapple database only keeps the links of the articles they feature in their daily digest, both top 3 and honorable. Despite the comments the pin is added most of them don't get added. I found that a few months ago. I hope that's helpful, have a great day!

Oke, no, I didn't know that. But all my own posts can be seen on my personal map right?
That's exactly the twist, if the post is not featured in a pinmapple digest, it is not stored on the personal map. ;) I discovered that few months ago when I was using pinnmaple site to search for a travel story of mine and couldn't find it. I asked the team and they told me about that feature.
Oooh oke, my personal map looks pretty full. I don't think I have had that much features do I?
I suppose you're right! I guess we're not from these parts of the world that need to be featured, lol
😅💪
https://pinmapple.com/@haastrecht it looks like they are all on there.
Now that is interesting. Probably something has been changed or there is a period they are kept for.
Can you recall an older post of yours so you search for it?
I am on the road. Let me see if I can look on to that on my mobile
Oh, no, please don't spend any more time if it isn't interesting to you ;) Safe travels!
