Splinterlands - Opening Gladius Case
Hello all Hive People & Splinterlands lovers,
The recent positive improvements in the crypto space make us all crypto lovers happy. The Bitcoin is very close to the 100K remarkable point and hope will cross the same in coming days. Is this the start of bull run or we are already in the bull run? The questions is in minds of all of us and the answer to the same is very tricky. I consider that we are jumping in the bull run and will see that the alt coins will also participate in same including the SPS & DEC. The recent change in strategy by Splinterlands management has worked well specially the Auction. In total players has spend 41,818,408 DEC for 22 HELOISE THE HOLLOW
cards.
The 22 cards also includes the one Gold Foil version also, which was sold for 14,000,000 DEC and every single normal foil also sold for more then 1,000,000 DEC. No doubt the event is one big success in Splinterlands history and I am sure we will see the breakage of old records when the next Gold Foil will be listed for auction. I do not have the enough DEC to participate and I know one need a lots of DEC to participate in such events. No doubt the card is awesome as it has some cool new abilities.
Pack Opening
From quite some time I have not purchased any Gladius case. I accumulated more then 79K Merits and most of them were form the different draws I purchased in past.
I decided to purchase maximum number of gladius packs. Each pack cost 2k merits so I was able to buy 39 Gladius packs. The 39 packs means I am going to add 195 cards in my collection and each card has the bloodlust ability. Unfortunately I do not get any Legendary card but received some Epic and Rare cards along with some gold foil cards. Form the gladius cards I like Quora Towershead the most. The card has the self healing ability form the level 1 along with the bloodlust ability. I am able to upgrade the Quora Towershead to level 3, at level 3 the card got the Immunity ability also. I have seen the card performed very well in many battles. Here are the screenshot of the pack opening.
At present I have 25K merits in my account which enable me to purchase 12 more packs.
The current season of game will end in two days and I am able to unlocked the Diamond II league and required 80 more point to unlock the Diamond I league. I am expecting more then 150K Glints by end of the season. With each winning battle I am earning 491 Glints and 1.9 SPS. I am planning to purchase the Major Chest. Hopefully I will unlocked the Diamond 1 and will claim the league rewards also.
