Major Draws, Beta Packs, and Diamond Leagues: My Splinterlands Experience

Hive blockchain is big ocean and it has the space for everyone, you just name it, I am sure you will be you will find the related community for sure. If I have to name best game on Hive Blockchain then my first name is Splinterlands only. I am associated with the game form past five years and I must say that the game development team is adding new features which make the game exciting till date. The first season for the new year is already started and we are almost in the mid of the season. I am always feel exciting when the season ends and I get a chance to claim the rewards and open the draws. I already claimed the last season rewards and I am excited to share the rewards with all my hive friends. In my current season I am battling in the Diamond III league and hopefully will unlocked the Diamond I in next 9 days i.e. before the end of the season. Last season was awesome and I earned 165,069 glint tokens, the number includes the ranked play rewards and the season end rewards both. At present their are limited use case for the Glint token, the reward section under the shop is the place were player can spend their earned Glints. I decide to spend the Glints on draws available, I finally purchased the Major Draws. I spend 150000 Glint token and purchased the 1500 Major Draws

As I already shared that I am battling in the Diamond III league, above screenshot shows my current status. To unlock the Diamond II I still need 280 more rating points. I am very much sure that same as previous season I will unlock the Diamond I and my current season will end Diamond I league only. The Glint boost is at 8.92x and with each winning battle I am getting the 593 Glints. I am a part of Guild and has good portion of staked SPS, and both factors considered in Glint Boost. I am looking forward to unlock the Champion league what to make it happened I need some upgradation of cards and also required to buy some more key cards.

At the start of every season I use to spend all my Glints earned form the previous season on the different draws. The new Gold Draws looks impressive as it ensure that all the cards will be gold foil, but they are too much expensive. So I am not in a mood to purchase any of the Gold Draw. Those draws are approximately 16 to 23 times more expensive then the normal draws. I purchased the 150 Major chests along with the potions. Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest.

When I was opening the Major Draws, I was surprised when I saw a Beta pack in rewards. I was not away for that the team has decided to rewards the players with the beta packs also. I check the same in pack opening section and saw one beta pack. Check the below screenshot.

From 150 chests, I received 173 cards, 222 potions, 38 energy, and 17,181 merits. No doubt getting 173 cards out of 150 draws is not at all bad deal. The merits pulled from the draws will be sufficient to purchase the 8 packs.

The Hive has shown a good positive move as the price has been increased more then 50% in few weeks. The Hive has been listed in some more exchanges which is the reason for the price increase and I am hopping the positive price impact of the Hive will create positive effect on second layer token like SPS also. If I checked the past week chart then the SPS also shown a positive move.

I am expecting some more increase in the SPS token in coming days. I am holding some liquid SPS and waiting for the good opportunity to invest them in Soulkeep cards.
