The previous season was relatively average for me, culminating in the acquisition of 46 Loot Chests - an amount slightly lower compared to the prior season. My engagement was within the Gold II league, maintaining a rating of 2344 as the season concluded. My gameplay took place in the Wild format, and my rank settled at 1058.

Recent times have witnessed noteworthy advancements in the Splinterlands game, notably the introduction of a bot ban and significant progress in the Lands feature. Unfortunately, the governance token Splintershards (SPS) has once again dipped below $0.020, posing challenges to the game's token dynamics.

Following the ban of the bot, a considerable number of players have shown heightened interest in the Modern Format of the game. The decision to prohibit bots is of critical importance, reflecting the power of community-driven decentralization as the ban was carried out through community voting.

The impending arrival of Lands has spurred many players into preparations. The prominence of cards in boosting PP points, thereby augmenting production on the lands, cannot be overstated. Holding 11 Plots, I'm aiming to maximize my Land's potential by acquiring as many max-level cards as possible (around 55, to be precise, not joking). In honesty, I only possess a solitary max-level card, a Gold Foil Legendary summoner card from the Death Splinter—Waka Spiritblade. This card singularly contributes a substantial 10,000 PP (Production Points).

Recently, the card was listed on the rental market; however, I've since withdrawn it from rentals and delegated it to one of my alternate accounts, as my wife wishes to partake in the Modern format. Deciding how to effectively deploy the card in the future presents three options: renting it out, utilizing it in the modern format, or employing it on a plot to optimize production points and rewards.

Lets talk about the last season end reward.

Below is the screenshot of season end rewards.

Noa the Just is Epic card and belongs to the Water Splinter which cost 5 mana to summon. Card has no attack with rust ability. The Rust ability is very useful when the opponent used the armor or the rule force to use the armor monster cards.

Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.

Rental Earnings

I have some spare cards (normal as well as gold foil) so I am trying my luck with rental also. I have created a new account and using the splex.gg for rental automation. The Rental income is not that good now days, some time its less then 0.5k per day against the average 2k per day in past.

passive income

In last season earned 2317.488 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.

On average, there's an approximate daily yield of 154 DEC token, which falls short of the previous season's earnings, and this is not particularly motivating. For my account, this translates to a 25% decrease in rental income compared to the last season. Until the Land is made available, there's no more preferable alternative for utilizing the card's potential. Nonetheless, there's a consistent trickle of Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) tokens into my account, which is certainly more preferable to receiving nothing at all.

On average it is approximately 154 DEC token per day which is less then the last season and not much encouraging. For my account it is downfall of 25% in rental income as compare to previous season. Till the time Land will not be released their is no other best option to put the card for work. At least some Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) token are always dripping in my account which is better then getting nothing.

The upcoming emphasis on Land will generate a favorable impact on the game's tokenomics, fostering a positive market environment. The introduction of Land will herald a range of modifications to the game, contributing positive outcomes to the card economy. Leveraging cards on land will offer a fresh utility for them, and my existing collection of cards will unquestionably play a pivotal role in enhancing my earnings from lands.

Lands will be best suited for older version cards and Gold foils, as they possess higher production points. The portion of the reward pool allocated will be calculated according to these production points. Fortunately, I have a collection of gold foil beta reward cards that will prove immensely advantageous for my endeavors on lands.
