Investment and Splinterlands Assets (SPS)

Numerous projects have been constructed on the Hive blockchain, ranging from those fully operational to others currently in the developmental stage. Hive is akin to a vast ocean, offering room for all to explore. The key lies in users discovering their own niche based on their interests and hobbies. Upon my entry into the Hive community, the Play2earn concept immediately captivated my interest. Delving into the projects established on Hive, I came across Splinterlands, an exceptional play-to-earn game. To my understanding, Splinterlands has not only thrived for a successful five years but continues to make remarkable advancements.

The recent update shared by the team on Twitter itself tell the success story of the project and The project's progress is not hidden form anyone.

Splinterlands as Investment Option

Splinterlands provide the number of ways to earn form the project. The project is not just a play2earn game its more then that. The ownership of NFT itself gives the many option for the players to earn the crypto form the project. The project is more then a game platform it's a investment project for the many users on Hive. When discussing investments, there are two approaches to consider: long-term and short-term. The choice between these methods hinges on the specific assets in which we're investing, coupled with the level of planning regarding the duration we're willing to hold onto them. Occasionally, even short-term investments can yield superior profitability, though this outcome is inherently unpredictable. Nevertheless, by analyzing the underlying fundamentals, we can develop a general understanding. This investment strategy holds relevance across various markets, encompassing both the stock and cryptocurrency realms. Market returns remain uncertain, and our earnings can be influenced by performance, whether in the short or long term. These results are entirely dictated by the market and prove challenging to anticipate.

Splintershards(SPS) Token - Long Term Investment

The SPS is a unique token in the splinterlands ecosystem as it provide the power in the hands of the Players or the token holders. The token is known as the governance token as it give the right to vote for the proposal that play a vital role in decision making in the game. The proposal or decision making will be implemented or not is decided by the community and the SPS tokens holder has the biggest influence in the process. This make the SPS token a unique and valuable. At current price of the token is heavily under rated as the token form the airdrop, which was last for one year has flooded the market with liquid SPS.
Since its inception, I've been steadily accumulating the SPS tokens. I maintained this approach even during periods of high prices, to be honest I never expected that the price of the token sp will go as low as less then $0.02. But this is the crypto world and the some time the things happened that we never expected. But still I believe that the price will be up again over the time when we will have more use case of the token. At present the Voting right is also one use case what I guess their are many players who just looking at the current profit booking and not able to see the future aspect of SPS. Initially, I held the expectation that even if the price underwent a decline, it would likely not plummet beyond $0.25. Yet, the descent proved far more dramatic, leaving the present price quite astonishing. I suspect this may have been influenced by a prolonged period of free token distribution spanning a year and a considerable number of players likely opted to secure profits. Naturally, when a larger number of token holders sell while a scarcity of buyers persists, price crashes tend to occur. It's plausible that this very scenario unfolded with SPS, contributing to its current state.

My SPS Holding

As I already shared that I am accumulating the SPS token form the initial day of airdrop and also believe to hold the token for long term.

Till now I am holding more then 88K SPS token and major of them are in staking condition. The Holding SPS in wallet is not just give you the right to vote for proposal it also earn you more SPS. The staked SPS also earn SSP from staked poll with 15.37% Annual Percentage Rate( APR).

Conclusion

This is not the strategy with the SPS token only I am not selling other Splinterlands assets also. The upcoming land will create the new market for the NFT cards and the Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) token also, and I am sure that will create a positive response in the market.
