Continuing on where we left with the Stock Market 101; series on booking profit. This time we have the part2 of this series where I would be covering about my investment in stock Edelweiss Financial Services Limited, the entry point and the exit point and interestingly here I made a 100% profit on my investment great isn't it? The main point that I want to convey in these series is that it is imperative rather very crucial to book profits when you are making them, as one may not always exit at the peak. Therefore, we need to make conscious decisions when booking profits and be happy about it. Before we get further a bit on as to why I had invested in ticker - "EDELWEISS"

Top 3 Reasons to Investment in Edelweiss Financial Services Limited...

Where should I start with, lets start with the basic model of the company which is financial sector. The company is in the business of providing investment banking services and holding company activities comprising development, managerial and financial support to the business. It is estimated that EFSL has a client base of 1.2+ million which sounds interesting and looking at companies marketcap which is around Rs.12K+ Cr. not a penny stock for sure and hence this was the very first reason to start accumulating, "Edelweiss" at lower prices

The second reason was around the dividend payout. EFLS has been maintaining a healthy dividend payout of above 46%..a good dividend paying out company so why to hold it. And finally when compared to its peers which are into similar business like - "Bajaj Finserv", "Jio Financial", "HDFC AMC" and many others EFLS stock price was standing out at less than a hundred rupee.

I was holding more than 500+ shares of EFSL and before I exited selling the last 200 shares here is what my holding looked like for this stock; see above image. Average buy price around Rs.65+ already booked profit of Rs. 22k+ and the last sell of 200 shares got me another Rs.12K+ profit. In all a 100% ROI on investment. Therefore I will reiterate that Booking Profits is equally important else when they will erode you will not come to KNOW...Well that should be it for todays post on the Stock Market 101; series2 on booked profits with real time examples and this time for the stock -"EDELWEISS".
