RUNI Investment - what is my Return on Investment (ROI) on RUNI & Plans Ahead for RUNI...

Its been a while that I didn't check on what my Return on Investment(ROI) for RUNI is at the moment. I did buy RUNI which is an Ethereum-based NFTs that can be traded, bought, and sold on OpenSea. All you need to do is connect your Ethereum Wallet to manage the RUNI you own. If you want to make your RUNI playable in the game of Splinterlands then you will need to assign RUNI to you account via the manage RUNI page. And once it is linked to your account, you make your RUNI a playable cards within the game. Its is also now evident in the recently released Land Phase 1.5 whitepaper, RUNIs are going to play an important role providing 100% production boost, which is equivalent to a Legendary Totem, and can be combined with a Legendary Totem for increased benefits. And for that reasons we are seeing an uptick in the price of RUNIs on OpeanSea Market.

Runi will provide a 100% PP boost to the base production of the entire plot. This is equivalent to a Legendary Totem, and can be combined with a Legendary (or other rarity) Totem for even more increased benefits.

Observe the price of RUNI in January, 2023 which was around less than 0.2 $ETH and now it is trading more than 0.4+ $ETH. It all started with having 6500 RUNIs to be minted, but as we progressed with the minting of RUNI and we approached the last day of minting only RUNIs 3,521 were minted and the rest i.e. the unminted RUNIs were lost forever! Ultimately making RUNIs more scare. Right now you can get a RUNI from OpenSea market for 0.42+ $ETH which is the best offer available and total volume of RUNI in term of $ETH is 639 with 1.3K+ unique owners for RUNI.

RUNI Bought Price

So at what price did I buy RUNI and what is my current ROI and plans for RUNI ahead? To be honest I did not mint a RUNI as I bought RUNI at a cheaper price from the Opensea market as opposed to minting a fresh RUNI. With this trade I could save a some dollars for myself. Here is the snapshot of the trade that I did long time back and bought RUNI for $250+ and at that point in time minting RUNI would have costed me 0.38+ $ETH. As a result this turned out to be a good deal for me to trade a RUNI and not mint it.

My main intention of buying RUNI was to HOLD at least 1 RUNI NFT as this is going to bring in more value in the game of Splinterlands - Runi Staking & In-Game Usage of it as a playable card excites me more about this NFT. I also HOLD a Tract which is like 100 plots; and RUNI at the same time is going to play an important role here where it is employed on a plot and this would provide 100% PP boost to the base production of the entire plot. Finally, I am already like 1x on my RUNI investment, in juts 4 to 5 months my investment in RUNI has doubled and I feel that in near future we are further going to see price of RUNI sky rocket. As you can see RUNIs are scarce as they are only 3521 RUNIs out there. If you are a splinterlands fan and plan the game quite often it is definitely a go to have at least 1 RUNI for yourself before its too late and we start seeing RUNIs trading for ONE $ETH... we are not that far away... cheers

It is always cool when you take a risk with an NFT. You HOLD your RUNI and the asset has begun to increase since the beginning of the current year.

RUNI looks like a good investment if bought at lower prices and could provide considerable returns in the game to speed up the return. Still, it is one investment I didn't jump in - Runi and Validator Nodes. I quite regret that now.
