Maya Liquidity touching $3+ Million - Liquidity Auction open with $RUNE NOW...

Today we got the news from the @Maya_Protocol team on twitter about the LIQUIDITY AUCTION update - where $RUNE now can be deposited to participate in the Liquidity auction using the @THORWalletDEX apps for iOS & Android. The same can be done via the Webapp on Throwallet. Just incase you want to know about how many days are left for the Liquidity Auction - then we still have 11 more days to go.

Maya Protocol is a Cosmos SDK-based decentralized liquidity protocol that enables native swaps across blockchains.

A brief note about - what is Maya Protocol? And what is it when means to say Maya’s Fair Launch. First lets understand about Maya which is a decentralized liquidity protocol for exchanging assets across blockchains; something similar to what ThorChain does and hence in some sorts Maya is a fork of ThorChain.

By participating in the liquidity auction users will be providing liquidity for any of the following assets which are :: $BTC, $ETH, $RUNE, $USDT & $USDC. The auction goes on for a 21-day timeframe. What does the users get for participating in the liquidity auction? Users get the equivalent $CACAO token which is Maya Protocol’s native token, and it powers the ecosystem with three main functions: Security, Liquidity & Value. why is this being called as Fair launch? This is called as Fair launch because 90% of the $CACAO tokens will be distributed to the participants proportional to their liquidity contributions.

Since, today deposit for $RUNE was opened to participate in the liquidity auction. There is a Boost for $RUNE pool which will run until Wednesday i.e. till 22nd March, 2023. Further note there will be only 100 Million $CACAO tokens existed and out of which 90% is going to be distributed to the participants/users providing liquidity via the liquidity auction currently going on.

Yes, I did participate in the Liquidity Auction for the Maya. I entered via providing $BTC as LA; see above image. Have converted all my liquid $RUNE to $BTC. And to be honest, I have entered the Tier 3 - which has a lock in period of 30 days, withdrawal limit is 4.5% and auction rewards earning is close to 1.3x and if I can get this much of a return would be more than happy.

The liquidity auction needs to accumulate $5+ Million funds and if incase these funds are not collected or the LA is deemed disadvantageous for any reason. And the community decides to undo everything via Ragnarok, then Tier 2 and 3 LPs might end up receiving back less and would be at a loss. There are still 11 more days to go and I am hopefully the LA should surpass more than $5 Million and may even touch $10 Million as well. So far 40+ $BTC, 360+ $ETH, 696K+ $RUNE, 27K+ $USDT and 38K+ $USDC as entered the liquidity auction.. way to go.. cheers
