Crochet scrunching for my Neighbours child
"Hello fellow needlework enthusiasts! I hope you all had a restful and peaceful night's sleep. I'm excited to continue sharing my creative journey with you, as I learn and explore new ways to make beautiful things. Today, I'm thrilled to share a step-by-step guide on how to crochet a lovely scrunchie.
This scrunchie is a special gift for my neighbor's child, who has been kind enough to help me with my baby from time to time. As I've been honing my crochet skills, I wanted to create something thoughtful and personalized for her. After discovering this adorable scrunchie design on YouTube, I knew it was the perfect project. I've chosen a color scheme that I think she'll adore, and I'm eager to see the finished result.
Join me as I walk you through the process of crocheting this charming scrunchie. Let's get started!"
These are the materials that i used.
Yellow wool and green wool
Knittting pin
Scissors for cutting of the edges
Human power
Hair band ring
The creative process unfolds! With materials in hand, I began by single crocheting around the hair band ring, completing the round with a slip stitch.
Next, I double crocheted around the first single crochet, again finishing with a slip stitch.
The third stage involved half double crochets, placing two in each spacing of the previous row's double crochets.
As I progressed to the fourth stage, I added two double crochets to each spacing, watching the scrunchie take shape. With each row, the beauty of the design emerged, motivating me to continue. I repeated this process until the final row, where I introduced the green color, adding a pop of vibrancy to the piece. Unfortunately, a power outage and dead battery prevented me from capturing this stage on camera. Nonetheless, I'm thrilled with the scrunchie's progress and excited to see the finished product.
Yes i have actually given it to her and she was very very happy. Infact happiness was an understatement. She even used her small phone to snaped her hands ooo.
Now the good thing is that this scrunchie can actually be used as hair band and also a wrist brecelate.
I am happy that i did something beautiful for somebody.
