Mantenimiento al filtro de agua [ESP]/[ENG]

Water filter maintenance
Greetings friends of the @homesolutions community, I hope you are enjoying a great weekend, full of positivism and energy.
This time I come by to share with you a simple but necessary job that I did to our drinking water filter, because it has been a long time since it was cleaned.
This is a Griven water purifier filter that eliminates odors and flavors to the water, it also serves to remove particles of sand or dirt that the water has. It does not work with electricity because it does not make chemical treatments to the water.
The maintenance that is done is quite simple, just unscrew the lid of the base and remove the inner part which is where the mud and impurities accumulate. That central core is formed by a kind of mesh of various thicknesses to filter and de-sludge the water.
When I removed the core I noticed that it was yellowish in color and at the bottom of the cup there was some mud accumulated in a pasty form.
I submerged it in a solution of soapy water and chlorine bleach for several hours to loosen the mud and impurities that were stuck to it. Then I let it dry and blew it out to verify that the pores of the filter were free of particles.
Finally I put it back on its base, disconnected the hose from the faucet and also cleaned this connection to prevent it from getting clogged with impurities from the water.
As I initially told you, it is a very simple job that anyone can do but it should be done at least once a month so that the filter works properly and performs its function properly.
Thank you for your attention and I bid you farewell until next time, hoping that this information will be useful for everyone.
Blessings to all.
