Portrait drawing a girl I found on IG - Enmanuela Jimenez
Hello community, today I come to show you a drawing that I made of a girl that I found on Instagram and who also lives in my city. Yesterday I asked her via direct Instagram message if I could take any of her photos to draw her. I like to draw girls with a pretty face or who have some experience with modeling since they know how to pose for portraits or usually have an extensive photo portfolio from which you can look for a much easier reference, this girl was delighted that I would ask permission to draw her since she likes my work and has seen some of my drawings floating around on some social network. For this drawing I wanted to do it in a slightly larger format than the one I usually draw since the girl probably wants to have it physically and if the portrait is small, the work was not going to be appreciated in much detail. In the end, she chose the photo from a photo session she had recently and I liked her choice because despite being a photoshopped photo, you can still see details of their faces and has good lighting and composition, the most difficult thing about this drawing was undoubtedly the rose since I don't usually make roses that look real but rather lines that resemble roses, I'm still waiting for a response from the girl to know if He liked the result.
For this drawing, I use the mechanical pencil for the sketch and the charcoal pencils for the shading and lighting and the blender, I hope you like it as much as I hope she likes it, her name on Instagram is enmanuela_jimenez
Hola comunidad, el dia de hoy vengo a mostrarles un dibujo que hice de una chica que encontre en instagram y que tambien vive en mi misma ciudad, el dia de ayer le pregunte via mensajeria directa de instagram si podia tomar alguna oto suya para dibujarla ya que me gusta dibujar chicas con un rostro bonito o que tengan alguna experiencia con el modelaje ya que saben posar a las caramas o suelen tener un portafolio de fotos extenso del que se puede buscar una referencia mucho mas facil, esta chica estuvo encantada de que le pidiera el permiso de dibujarla ya que le gusta mi trabajo y ha visto algun dibujo mio rodando por alguna red social, para este dibujo lo quise hacer en un formato un poco mas grande del que suelo dibujar ya que probablemente la chica quiera tenerlo en fisico y que el retrato sea pequeño no se iba a apreciar a mucho detalle el trabajo, la foto al final la eligio ella de una sesion de fotos que tuvo recientemente y me gusto su eleccion porque a pesar de ser una foto retocada con photoshop aun se ven detalles de su rostros y posee buena iluminacion y composicion, lo mas dificil de este dibujo fue sin duda la rosa ya que no suelo hacer rosas que se vean reales sino mas bien trazos que se asemejen a rosas, aun espero respuesta de la chica para saber si le gusto el resultado.
para este dibujo utiliza el portaminas para el boceto y los lapices de carboncillo para el sombreado e iluminacion y me ayude de igual manera con el difuminador, espero les guste tanto como espero que le guste a ella, si nombre en instagram es enmanuela_jimenez
