I thought my FB acc. got hacked!
Last night, it was exactly 11:22 PM when I was talking to my friend through messenger, I was asking for something then I heard her say “Wait my account says session expired” I was wondering too when I opened my Facebook account on my laptop it stated that I need to log in. As far as I can remember I didn’t log out of my account. Then, in a split second, our call ended and I thought that my friend ended our call but it wasn’t.
So I talked to my best friend via Telegram, I asked her if she could still use her FB and messenger and she told me that she was calling her other friend too while replying to me in TG. And then in a few seconds, she told me that her messages couldn’t be sent anymore. We were wondering what happened to it. I kept on trying to log in to my account thinking that I forgot my password but I was too confident that I knew my password so well; it took me at least 3 minutes to realize that maybe the system was down because I thought that my account got hacked but there’s nothing for me to hide in my account. It’s okay for me to lose it anyway so I let it slide.
It was exactly 12:25 AM last night when my friend messaged me that finally the FB/messenger was back. It was a relief because I know I’m not the only one who’s experiencing it. I’m expecting a flooded post about FB/messenger being taken down for half an hour, and while browsing the internet, I just found out that Instagram was included and X or formerly Twitter is excluded. Elon Musk the owner of X even made a meme of other social media being taken down.
I opened my Instagram account to check if it is still working on that time but still not working so I let it slide. I was just browsing on the internet enjoying on the post or meme about Facebook and Messenger being took down, and then later on I slept.
