Visiting Our Place Near at The Sites

Greetings everyone, Me and my friends decided to take a travel in our place near at the excavation sites here in Barangay Punta Silum Manticao, Misamis Oriental. I was very excited because atlast, I will make visiting our vacant lot or place again. It was a hot sunny day when we do our travel and for sure that there is no one will hungry, We brought also some food for our travel.

Our vacant lot is near at the seashore that is why we can see the sea through here and it has a nice overview through here. At first, we need to climb on a small hill in order for us to reach our destination. Good thing there is a small ladder that can help us climb the place very easily.

A Ripe Atis Fruit

I noticed this fruit of atis here in our place. Because of no one notice of this fruit here in this place reason that the fruit was being turn into black and cannot be eaten. We love to atis and the leaves of this fruit is good for minor illness just like stomachaches. Just boiled the young leaves of this fruit and drink the boiling water. It is easy to ripe and it has a curvy shape.

My Father told us to maintain the cleanliness of the area so that the place will become useful by planting more crops, fruits and vegetables.

A Splashing of Sea water

Because our place is near at the seashore, we decided to to take a travel on the shore. Even if the weather is very beautiful but still there is a rough wave splashing to the sea side. I tried to take a photo of the sea water splashing on this culvert and I took a perfect picture of it. It was already a high tide and many people wants to go for a swim. I also noticed some fishermen who are busying for catching fish using the fishing lure. This place contains a simple life but it is very abundance with many kinds of fish, crabs and other sea creatures that can be eaten.

Because of the past bad weather auch like typhoons, low pressure and rainy season, there are many kinds of trash washed out and landed it in here. Some of the trash, as I noticed was plastic cellophane, diapers, clothes and woods. This place is very pity and I felt sad about the scenarios. The Local Government already take some actions about this problem and they will conduct clean up drive.

An Excavation Site

Near at this site is our vacant lot. Back in many years, this place is full of trees and the only thing can be seen here is the high cliff but as the years moving forward, the landowner decided to develop the place and put some establishments here. That is why they hired the excavator and quarry the place to make it a plain one. The stones from here were carried out to the place that needs a backfill. Almost 6 months of working until now, and before this happen, the owner get the documents and papers already authorized to do some operations here. First, they excavate the cliff and make a road so that the dump trucks can easily reached up in this place. With the use of two backhoes, the place was instantly change the areas into a plain place.

After a long way of traveling the place, we decided to go home and we only do walking instead commuting. Even if we are under the heat of the sun, still we are very enjoyed walking, talking and laughing. It was a very happy and memorable moments happens to my life and I love to come back here in this place.
