The Wonderful Coastal Area In Zone Bougonvilla Calangahan, Lugait Misamis Oriental

Calangahan Lugait Misamis Oriental is one of the progressive Barangay in Lugait and one of the best and great views can be seen is the Paradise -like beach place. There are many foreign people who visited this place last year during summer season and even if the place contains a rocky place, still the area is very fascinating and good to see. There are also some vloggers who went in the place just to take photos and videos of the coast and they are very satisfied about the great images they've taken. For today's travel blog of mine, I will take you to the place full of wonderful great sight-seeing, so that you can also imagine how beautiful and relaxing it is if we lived near at the coastal areas. Also I will also share those simple works and living of the residents here in the said Barangay.

If we start traveling from Manticao, Misamis Oriental going to this place, it needs to travel a few minutes depends on how traffic the road is before we arrived here. If we started to Iligan City went in here, it needs to travel a few hours. We can ride Tuk-tuk, tricycles, Jeepneys and buses if we want to do adventure in here. This coastal area is also near at Barangay Calangahan Health Center and Calangahan Elementary School and it only needs to walk a few meters away.

The Coastal Areas:

Exactly 7 in the morning when I arrived in this place and it was very lucky for me because it was low tide. There are lots of stones showed up in the shoreline including those seaweeds, Corals and mangrove plants. It is very perfect to walk specially early in the morning here in the coastal areas. We can see the beautiful sceneries and some marine animals lived in the big stones. The blue sky reflects the colors to the sea water and a we can heard a small boats from afar sailing to the sea.

There are lots of big and small stones including the peebles and corals can be seen here. There many cliffs can also be seen near at the coast just like this one. Above of this vast and grassy cliffs is the National road and through the place, we can be seen the great overviews of the sea. Banana plants are grows near at the cliff and some of it are already produce fruits and ready to harvest. I amazed of the people living in this place because even if the area contains a small part of soil only, they can still plants more valuable plants and crops.

Not far enough from the coast is this newly built beach resort. It was built near at the cliff and they put a concrete walls so that it can't be collapsing easily. This is the only private beach resort here in the place and it already in operational starting last year. It is good to developed this place because of its great sceneries that will tourist and beach goers will really love the most.

A Simple Way Of Living to All residents:

The source of income to all residents here is by fishing. This man was very busy carrying his fish nets and He will cast this to the place were many fish can be catch. Some of the residents owned a small boats and every 5 in the afternoon, they will also set sail to the sea. When they take a rest, they also put their small boats somewhere safe away from rough waves. Some of the boats also place in this piled of tires so that it can't be reach by sea water. Some small boats was in the coast but they tied it using a big ropes and tied in the big stones.

Big Stones Falled Down From The Cliff:

For many, many years has past this big chunks of stones was already falled down from the cliff due to rock and soil erosions. Strong earthquakes is also the main cause of the catastrophic views and as it falls down to the shore, the sea water was completely reach and submerge this stones. Some of it are having a mangrove plants at the top that can also help to make the place cool.

Rock Pools and Seashells:

Every low tide, there are lots of rock pools and sea shells found in this place and one of the sea shells we can found here is this one. We called it giant clam sea shells. In the rock pools, there are lots of fish, crabs, shrimps and seashells stranded and people catch it for their meals.

This series of boats called "Lansa" in local term is ready to set sail to sea. Sometimes, this boats also reached near at Ozamis place and the crew of this boats catches more fish to sell in the market. This is really a kind of challenging work and jobs to all of them but very enjoyable and must be proud of.

Barangay Calangahan is truly a progressive place and as for that, there are lots of hidden beautiful place fit for those people who loves traveling and beach adventure. This is @godslove123, your pinmapple Local Traveler.
