The Time When I Visited Birds Nest Sanctuary Again

Greetings everyone, today I decided to went back in Birds nest sanctuary Located in Barangay Pagawan, Manticao Misamis Oriental. This place is well developed into a Museum and a Gardening areas. Many people loves to visit here looking all fascinating old and antique things exhibited here at the Sanctuary. But The main reason why I'm here is to take pictures not only the antique things but the areas and structures inside of the sanctuary. Birds nest sanctuary contains lots of wonderful sceneries and views just like the unique house structures, And different kinds of plants inside of the place. This place is near at our house that is why it will be very easy to went here either by walking or riding in a vacant passenger vehicles. It took a few minutes before it reached here.

Inside of the sanctuary is this big tents with many different kinds of ornamental plants planted surround at this big tents. Some of the old things just like an old bicycle hanging on a metal bars. This old bike is one of the things owned by residents here in Manticao that time. Also a big concretes formed with letters are decorated and out in the middle of the place.

Birds nest sanctuary is not really and open areas, in fact there are lots of ornamental plants and trees can be seen here. It keeps the place even more cool and relaxing, aside of that it can bring an attractiveness to sanctuary that can make the visitors amazed and have a wonderful time exploring this areas. This small bamboos was design on each side of the concrete pathways and a few native trees and valuable plants here.

An Exhibit Room For Antiques:

Inside of this structure are the old things displayed and exhibit but during my visits, this place is temporarily closed and it will be opened by next day. There are lots of antique things used by people who lives here at the Municipality many years has past. There are also some flags displayed and hanging on the walls of the structures. The structures is made of light materials just like Bamboo pieces, round lumber and nets.

This structure is a cafeteria, it is runned everytime when there are some special occasions just like Birthdays, Anniversaries, Meetings and Wedding ceremonies. The structure is made of bamboos coated with Varnish to make it shinny and glossy. On the walls was also hanged this bow and arrows that native people used that day, exhibiting and displaying those things helps us to learned and know what are the things they used that time.

Mantukaw Reception Hall:

Near at the Cafeteria is the Mantukaw hall, this structure is used for different kinds of occasions just like Anniversaries, Birthdays, Weddings and Meetings. The hall is decorated with colorful curtains and a unique handicrafts chandeliers. This structure is located at the middle of those many trees and ornamental plants. Approximately, almost 1000 people can get inside of this hall and ready to accept any booked occasions.

Water lilies are some of the main attraction of the place. This kind of fresh water plants was placed in a big couldron containing lots of water to make this plant live and float. It multiplies ver fast and grows faster in to a big and wide water Lily.

Sanctuary Garden

Birds nest sanctuary also contains some valuable plants just like corn. In some portion of the place is the garden of the sanctuary were well potted vegetable plants and corns planted. All of the plants here are supported with organic fertilizer so that the soil will keep fertile. Some of the pots can be seen here are recycled empty big plastic containers.

A Bee Hive Structure:

This is a bee hive structure. Inside of this light structure are wooden boxes were the bees lives and hid. There are lots of bees can be seen inside of those boxes and it produces lots of honeys.

Different kinds of Light house srtuctures:

These the unique light materials house structures built in the place. This is what some of the house looks like back in many, many years. The rooftop is made of cogon leaves, romblon leaves and coconut leaves. The walls is made up of bamboo pieces coated with varnish and a round lumber served as base and foundation of the structures.
