"My Grandma's Ornamental Plants Collections"

Flowers can give a beautiful and fascinating place because of its colors, styles and images. It can relax our mind and have a peaceful way of living. This morning I decided to visit my Father's Parents. Grandma loves to plant and collected more different kinds of flowers and other ornamental plants. As for her, this is one of her hobby since when she was at a teen ages. Many people are appreciated of the flower she have and some are willingly to buy those kinds of plants according of what they like.

Allow me to share some of the flowering plants she have in my Grandma's ornamental garden.

The first picture that I am going to share is flower called, Native white orchids. It contains a purple colors at the middle of its petals and a pretty white color on its tip. It grows into a vine plants that is why it needs to tied on the trees.

Next is the Giant Yellow santan flower. It contains many small flowers on each branches and it has several types of colors just like Pink, Yellow, Orange and Red. I remembered during my childhood days when me and my friends are making a flower necklace out of this santan flower. The stalks at the middle of its small flowers contains a sweet flavors it we always tasted it.

Next is the White rosal flower. The color of this plants is very attractive to our eyes. It contains a small portion of yellow color at the middle of its flower.

This is what we called, Purple Trumphet flower. There are many people attracted in this kind of plants. It consists of yellow colors at the middle of its flowers and it is good for landscaping methods. The shape is just like a Trumphet and it bares more flowers. My Grandma always collecting more flowering plants until today. Some of her plants are already sold and the money she got was used to buy her basic needs at home.

I was really amazed of this plants, I thought it is only an ornamental plants but it is also a kind of fruits that can be eaten. My Grandma called this Chinese manggoe. Her friend gave some of the branch of this plant and she decided to plant in her backyard. It grows very healthy and bare more good fruits. Children loves to eat the fruits out of this plant and my Grandmother is also gladly to give some of this fruits.

There are lots of snake plants in different kinds of place. We called this, Dwarf snake plants and it is perfect for indoor decorations. This can also good for putting at the center table and as the other people says, it brings goodluck.

Cactus plants is also good for indoor decorations. My Grandma always searching for different kinds of cactus and succulents plants in fact, she do some barter methods to other plant takers. The cactus she got is placed in this recycled pots made of concrete and clothes.

This pretty flowers are also very attractive because of its colors and forms. Even if this are common here in our place but still, it is perfect for planting it in the backyard or landscaping.
