My Enjoyable Exploring Activities at Zone 14 Coastal Areas

Greetings everyone. Since when I was already an officially membered here in Hive Platform, I already did some traveling adventure either in far away places or nearly areas here at the Municipality. As for that, I already traveled lots of fascinating and beautiful places here at the Province and some far away places just like Malita Located In Davao Occidental. For my travel blog, I will take you in some parts of the place located here in Zone 14 Barangay Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Brought by the climate change, the place was also slowly eroded and submerged by Sea water.

A Unique Small Boats Used For Fishing Activities:

From Barangay Punta Silum, I traveled and riding a vacant passenger vehicle and it takes a few minutes of traveling before I reached the place. I was very excited to see the place again, after 5 Years it was my Second time to visit the place again. Same as the other parts of Barangay Punta Silum, some of the residents here owns a small boats using for catching more fish to the sea. Every 5 in the Afternoon, they already set sail to the sea bringing their fishing nets to the Sea water. Each boat contains lots of designs including its colors and serial numbers, in this kind of way they easily identify which small boats they have owned.

A Fish Pond Near at The Sea:

Some of them also owned this big and wide fish pond near at the coastal areas just like this one. In this pond contains lots of crabs, shells, fish and shrimps. There is also a floating cottage made of light materials just like bamboo pieces, round lumbers and a unique rooftop made of coconut leaves. This pond is also near at the river and it has been here many years ago. They cultured lots of fish, shrimps, crabs and shells here and they sell to the Supermarket. The pond is surrounded with many wild plants and few coconut trees that can make the place cool and have an attractive views.

This areas were the fresh and salt water joined Together, lots of big and small stones can be seen in the place. It contains lots of different kinds of colors, Sizes and shapes. Many people wants to be here at the place everytime when there is a low tide to search lots of crabs, seashells and shrimps. This stones was being washed out from the river due to a strong and big floods happens, those stones was being put and deposited here at the coastal areas. Every high tide, this place was submerged by sea water and the stones cannot be seen aside of sea water.

A Place full of Bamboo Plants and Turned into an open field and Sea water areas:

The place was totally having a lot of changes, back on 5 years this place was covered with lots of bamboo trees. I remembered this place the time when we've been here 5 years has past, each side of the river contains lots of bamboo trees. But as the climate changes and due to strong floods happens here, the place was totally washed out and only this bamboo stems left. This materials was also submerged in the sea water every high tide. I was was very amazed of the views I've seen during my travel, because of the strong water current, the leaves and some small bamboo branches was flashing out going to the sea.

Some of the big trees just like Molave trees are also washed out and submerged by sea water. The residents gathered lots of branches and woods that flashing out from the river so that they can have lots of firewoods.

Coconut Trees In The Shore:

For many years has passing by, the sea water also increasing and rising and the results are there are lots of coastal and shores being damaged and eroded. As I continued to explored the place, I noticed this few coconut trees already lying on the ground. The reason was the sea water reaches its roots and been eroded slowly until those trees already lied on the ground. I truly imagined that if the water keep rising, this place will also submerged by the sea water. But despite of the nature problems happens here,still it brings and gives a great and wonderful views of the place. A perfect place to all those who loves Sea adventure.
