My Daily Life Post: Tree Planting Activity At Barangay Pagawan Manticao Misamis Oriental

Greetings everyone, today is the wonderful and enjoyable day I've experienced because of the special activities happens here in Barangay Pagawan, Manticao Misamis Oriental. The Owner of Bird's nest Sanctuary has been conducted a tree planting activities here at the place and He invited different sectors and organizations here in the Municipality. The Mission is to plant lots of trees in the open field at the hill to help and keep the areas relaxing and cool. I also one of the volunteer for planting lots of trees and I am very thankful for inviting me in the special activities. It was exactly 7 in the morning when I reached the meeting venue and gladly I was not late. Before we proceed to the site, they conducted a speech and orientation regarding of the activities and it takes few hours.

After the orientation we proceed to the site and almost 8 convoys are following us. Lots of vehicles parked in the place and lots of people who joined the activities bringing their tools for planting. We parked here near at the stream because the site is not accessible by any big vehicles just like trucks and cars. Everyone was very happy and excited to plant lots of trees at the hill.

This is one of the organization who joined the tree planting activities, this people worked from the Catholic and religious bases, they also invited in this wonderful tree planting activities and my Parents is one of them. I was the proxy of joining tree planting activities and I was gladly accepted it. Before we proceed planting the trees, they also requested to take pictures aa their souvenirs.

From Barangay Road we do traveling through walking adventure going to the site. The road trail was very muddy and it slippery that is why it needs to walk very slowly and carefully. We passing by in this clean stream, it contains crystal clear water and it was very cool and relaxing. Everyone was very happy and having a lot of fun time exploring the place and enjoying the freshness of the place.

We also passing by in this wide and open farm place, there are lots of Corn plants in the areas and it is perfect place to plant different kinds of crops because it is near at the stream and it will be very easy to fetch lots of water for the plants.

But before we proceed to the site to plant lots of trees, the organizer told us to group and each sector or organization have designated trees to plant. Our group will plant Molave tree at the slope sites and it will be very adventurous because of climbing the slope place and a slippery road trail.

This are the trees planted at the site and some of it are already carried to the hill and ready to plant there. Almost 500 different kinds of Native trees will expected to plant at the hill.

Planting Activities:

The planting activities has begun and it takes a few hours planting at the place. It was very easy for us to plant those trees because it has already lots of holes at the site and the only thing we did was to plant those young trees. Almost 200 People from different sectors and organizations joined the activities and they are very happy and enjoyed.

After that, we proceed to climbed down from the mountain and we walked very carefully because of the slippery road trail, for us this is a great and big projects we did and it helps the Mother Nature and also in the Environment to presserve the good balance of Nature.

After planting we went by in the Water Pump to washed our hands and we really enjoyed washing our hands in this cool water. It is located near at the corn field and bamboo trees and near at the stream. This water pump helps all residents for washing, cleaning porpuses and also for their farm raising animals like Pigs and chickens.

Our planting activities was successfully ended and the organizer was very thankful to us for accepting their invitations and joined the tree planting activities. Also, they did an announced for the next tree planting activities this Coming October 31 and the planting site will at the other place of Barangay Pagawan Misamis Oriental.
