🧓🧓 Hive Act Of Kindness Journal|| Visiting Our Elder Neighbor And Giving Some Avocado Fruits, Clothes and Rice"🧓🧓

It is very nice that we should respect our elders even if they are not our relatives, as long as they elders. For today's blog, I will share simple act of kindness we did yesterday when me and my Partner decided to went at one of our neighbor. I am very happy and enjoyed everytime I helped someone and this is a good way as a good nieghbor. Before we went for a visit, we prepared the things we want to give just like Clothes, Rice and her favorite fruits, the avocado. As we we arrived of the elder's place, it is already tradition here in our country to bow down whiles holding the elder's hand in our forehead. This is one of showing respect.

The last time I visited Granny, she always told me that her favorite to eat is avocado and she always want to eat it. We are very lucky that one of our avocado tree was already harvested, but it was only few avocado fruits harvested but we are still happy of it. So I decided to brought this ripe avocado fruit and it is ready to eat because it is ripe. Even if it is only two avocado but it can bring joy and happiness to granny that finally, she can eat avocado again.

The time when I gave the avocado, granny was very happy. I felt pity with granny because she can't perfectly see and according to here, her left eye would not see clearly. But even if that is her situations, still she were doing her house chores and in fact she work outside and keeping herself busy. Granny is very talkative woman, and we are very enjoyed listening her story about her past. She also do some jokes that make us laugh anytime during our conversation.

We do a conversation with granny, and everytime she shares her past and childhood moment, after that she will cry. I wonder what feelings would be inside of mind in granny but for me, the reason she cried after sharing her story and we really appreciate about sharing her memorable past. Granny also share her problems just like clothes, and food. She do budgeting with her foods like she cooked rice in the morning for breakfast, that rice will be consumed untill evening for her dinner. Thats the only good way to make a budget with her food.

We decided to brought her a pair of clothes and a 3 kilos of rice. As she heard that we brought a 3 kilos of rice, she was very happy. She added that in a 3 kilos of rice, it will takes long time before it will consumed all. She was very fun wearing MAONG shorts so we also brought and gave to granny. This are a simple way of kindness but more importantly it comes from the bottom of our heart. Granny ordered me to put the rice her in this box because she can't clear very easily and so I did her request. This can serve as a measuring thing if she wants to cook rice and it was very unique of having a simple life.

I am very amazed of granny that even if she was already 70 years old, she was still working by gathering this woods and branches of the trees. She cut into right measures and tied with a straw, and sell to all people who wants firewoods. This will help specially by cooking different kinds of foods. According to granny, this is one of her primary source of income, she do alone because her husband was already dead 10 years has passed. This kind of work is not really easy to her because this is one of Males work. But she did her best to live.

This is granny's simple house. As I observes her house, it is very unique. Her sons build this house just for her and she already lived here in this house alone for many years. Even if she lives alone her in this unique house, she still very happy and proud to herself. According to granny, living here in this place can keep her very peaceful and calm.

She also owned this chicken pen and since when here husband live, they already produced and raised more chickens here. Her lost husband was decided to build a cage so that the chicks will keeping safe from animals just like dogs, cats, rats, snakes and other wild animals.

She owned this water sprinkler because granny have garden also. But sadly when she already can't see clearly, she decided to stop gardening. She was very pity about her situation.

I was very happy to see that our neighbor was very happy to her happy also. As long as I have, I will keep helping others. The expense of rice and clothes I brought was from my HIVE earnings, and I really thankful of this platform and to all of you Dear Hivers.
