Garden Journal|| My Garden Status and Checking my Monggo Vegetable Plant, Sugar Cuts and Okra Vegetables

Greetings everyone, It's me again your Hive Gardener friend. Today, I decided to checked my newly grow monggo vegetables in my Garden. I was very happy to see this because I am waiting this seeds to grow up and to become a plant. According to the Municipal Agriculture, there are many kinds of vegetables can grow here in our place and some of it are Monggo, Spinach, Okra, Lemon Grass, String Beans and many more. So I tried to plant some of the monggo seeds I brought from the super market. And of course, before I started planting it I make a garden plot so that the soil will always soft and instantly absorb the water and nutrients going to the Plant.

Last day, the measurements of my Monggo plant only reach to 3 Inches tall. But for a few days have pass, my Monggo sprouts are grows taller instantly. I applied the basic methods of Gardening and that is, Always keep the soil cultivated so that roots will keep expanding.

Another gardening methods which I learned during my college year is by putting all the seeds to the water. Before I planted the monggo seeds, I put the seeds first in the water. It keeps the monggo seeds produces roots within 3 to 4 days. I put it in the water for a few minutes, and after that I started to plant it in my Garden plot. This small monggo sprouts was already planted 2 days already but not it is started to grow taller. By planting all kinds of seeds, it must be 2 inches deep only. The seeds cannot survived if we planted it very deep.

My Okra Vegetable Plant:

Okra plant will started to grow A week before it planted. Even if the seeds will already put in the water, the growth of this vegetable depends on the place, the fertility of the soil and the weather. I also checked my Okra vegetables and I am very happy to see that it is already grows. On next day, I will add more soil on each Okra vegetables until it will grows taller. As I observed it, the plants grows very healthy and the only thing I will do is to cultivate the soil surrounds on the plants and watered it 3x A week. Organic fertilizer is also good ideas to keep this plant grows very healthy and produces more vegetables.

My Sugar Cane Cuts:

I decided to plant Sugar cane. Everybody loves to eat sugar cane especially my Family, because the taste is very sweet. I keep waiting for how many weeks before it showed this sugar cane sprouts. I am very happy and proud to myself to see this three sugar cane sprouts. The first time I saw this was full of red ants and I started to worry about it. I tried to use organic pesticides and I decided to grind more chilli peppers and I added it to the water and put in the spray. I sprayed the place where the red ants lived including this sugar cut of mine. My first plan was very successfully and the red ants started to leaved this sugar cane, thats the reason why this plant continues to grow.

Ginger is ready to Plant:

As I also checked my Ginger, there is already sprouts comes out on its bulb. I cut the bulb into smaller pieces and put in the water until it produces sprouts. Tomorrow, I will plant this in my Garden and good thing I already make a garden plot. Ginger should be harvested within 9 months this is according on my observation. I already planted Ginger before and sell to the market and it takes 9 months before I finally harvested it.

Having many kinds of vegetables and Garden is very fun. We should really keep ourselves productive everyday.
