Greetings Dear travelers and explorers all over the World. In the Province, the first thing comes to our mind are Nature views just like Trees, Mountains, Plains and even coastal areas. For today's travel blog is very simple and relaxing because I visited some parts of the Manticao river located in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Aside of wonderful and relaxing views, it also contains a historical Events happens here for many years and Centuries has past. There are some main reason why Visited and explored the place; First is to see those beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Second to see the place were our elders talks about before it turned into river.

Manticao river is the only long bodies of water located here in the Municipality of Manticao in the Province of Misamis Oriental. Vehicles cannot passing by here and only road trail for people can be seen and found. This river is quitely far from Provincial road and it takes a few hours of walking. This is really quite adventuristic to all Nature travelers because before we arrived at the river, there are few native and hardwood trees can be found and also wild plants.

Every summer or as long as there is no rains for Months or Weeks, the water here at the river is very crystal-clear and we can see the stones, fishes swims, Crabs crawling and shrimps under water. The shallow and deep place can also easily found because of the color blue areas under water. Fishing and catching crabs, shrimps is perfect in here because of the bamboos submerged in the water. For centuries according to my ancestors and elders, this area was once a dry land were coconut trees and thick grass can be found, but as many years has past the dry land was completely turned into a river collapsing tons of sands and soil.

This floor of solid silica stones was shown at the surface. The soil that burries the stone was already washed away and collapsing resulting this rocks shown to the surface. Every summer, there are lots of people who came from far places wants to take for a swim enjoying the coolness and relaxing of the clean river. If we do washing the clothes, this areas is perfect for it. The clothes are place on the top of this stones, aside of that a big rock pools can also be seen here which it can also perfect to take a bath on the cold water.

This are some of the trees can be seen and found here and it gives the place a shady and cool areas. Lots of wild animals like birds, Snakes lives in this thick forest. Those trees helps the place to avoid collapsing the dry land and to maintain the balance of Nature.

As we keep traveling the place, I will take you in this areas were lots of trees and dry lands located. But for many years has passing by, those dry land was already turned into Wide place of Fresh water and tons of stones. The once thick forest was now already an open place were lots of water flowed during great floods. Different kinds of stones includinf its shapes, forms, sizes and colors can be seen here.

This big and old tree bark is the piece of evidence about the dry lands in here. This was already submerged in the fresh water for centuries and many great floods happens here. This things is already inludes as the ancient trees grows in here and I truly imagined how many floods tried to washed out this big stems. Manticao river holds many fascinating stories about the past, and it is also perfect to visit specially during summer and heat season.
