A Day in My Life Blog: My Mother's Side Family Reunion - A Great Day for us to Bond Again! 🤗😇🙏

In the few days, I have been very busy bonding time with my family in my father's side and it was very memorable for me but that never ends as in my mother's side, we will be having a bonding moments also where we will be having a Family Reunion.

We have already planned together with my cousins and aunts about this through messenger. We have talked on what we need to prepare for our upcoming family reunion.

Now, as the day of our family reunion finally happened, all of us are very excited as after two years, we finally organized again this reunion. Way back 2022 was our last family reunion that's why this reunion will be another memorable moments for all of us.

It was already 10:30 in the morning when we arrived at the venue, a resort which is owned by my Uncle. So, we do not need to spend more for our venue, only for foods but all the foods are already provided by all.

After a while, the program was now officially started by a opening prayer and I was assigned to do it, and I am very thankful for considering me for opening prayer.

The first thing we did is we called all the siblings of my Mother in the front although they are not complete as two of them are both working abroad. We get some chair for them to seat and we do, one of the Filipino tradition which we called *"Mano Po" or we bless, by simply putting thier hands into our forehead, this is our Filipino of showing respect to our parents and elders.

We have lots of activities during the reunion where we called all our parents to talk and share what they have felt, and even to us so that we can share more ideas for our family reunion every year.

Until around 12:00 noon, we then take our lunch. We have lots of foods prepared and the highlights will be the Lechon Baboy. My aunt and her husband also brought some fruits to be given away in every family as her way of thanksgiving.

In the afternoon, our program continues with some other messages most especially to my Mother as the eldest of their siblings and some of my aunts and uncle too. Here we have heard some encouragement and appreciation for the success of this family reunion and the many years to come.

A family reunion will not be complete without any entertainment and so we also have some parlor games especially for the kids and to those who have young at hearts. All of us are very happy and we can see also that my mother and her siblings are also very happy.

Until around 3:00 in the afternoon our family reunion program was finally over and since their is a swimming pool, we then go to swimming especially the kids like our Baby King2x. I also go to swimming to look for our Baby King2x in the pool.

Everything was a success event from start in the morning until it ends in the afternoon and we thank God for giving us the opportunity in my mother's side to bond again after two years.
