¿Cómo están, amigos? Aprovechando la visita de mis suegros decidimos tener una escapada el fin de semana, pero no queríamos solo ir a comer o caminar, en cambio teníamos ganas de playa, sol y arena, lo que estando en Monagas se reduciría a piscina, sol y grama 😅. Esta vez nos aventuramos en la carretera nacional del sur para visitar la popular " Estancia Los Potros", una hacienda que cuenta con un hotel, piscina, restaurante, y ofrece varias actividades recreativas para la diversión de toda la familia.
How are you, friends? Taking advantage of my in-laws' visit we decided to have a weekend getaway, but we didn't want to just go for a meal or a walk, instead we were looking forward to the beach, sun and sand, which being in Monagas would be reduced to swimming pool, sun and grass 😅. This time we ventured out on the southern national road to visit the popular "Estancia Los Potros", a hacienda that has a hotel, swimming pool, restaurant, and offers various recreational activities for the whole family to enjoy.
| Lo primero que debes saber es que la entrada tiene un precio de $5 para los adultos, $3 para los niños de 6 hasta 12 años, y $3 para los adultos mayores de 58 años; lo que te da el derecho de disfrutar del área de la piscina, paseo en kayaks, recorrido guiado, paseo a caballo, pared de escalada, pescar artesanal y paseo de agrotren. ¿Qué les parece? | The first thing you should know is that the entrance fee is $5 for adults, $3 for children aged 6 to 12, and $3 for adults over 58; which entitles you to enjoy the pool area, kayak ride, guided tour, horseback riding, climbing wall, artisanal fishing and agro-train ride. What do you think? |
Nosotros llegamos al lugar como a las 9:00am aproximadamente, pero el clima no estaba muy prometedor que se diga, entonces justo a los 10min de llegar apareció una nube gris gigante y comenzó a llover 🫣. Pero, afortunadamente Maturín es la ciudad distinta y así como comenzó a llover, así mismo salió un sol hermoso unos 20min después, un fenómeno incomprendido por los meteorólogos 😅.
We arrived at the place around 9:00am approximately, but the weather was not very promising, then just 10 minutes after arriving a giant grey cloud appeared and it started to rain 😅. But luckily Maturin is a different city and just as it started to rain, so did a beautiful sun come out about 20 minutes later, a phenomenon misunderstood by meteorologists 😅.
| En esta hacienda hay 2 áreas con piscina, en primer lugar tenemos la principal que abarca un espacio bastante amplio, pero su profundidad no es mucha. Luego, tenemos otra piscina que es más pequeña, pero cuya profundidad es mucha más adecuada para el disfrute de los adultos, y si me preguntan es mi favorita porque no hay tanta presencia de niños, de hecho ese día la tuvimos para nosotros solos 😌. | In this hacienda there are 2 areas with swimming pool, firstly we have the main one that covers a quite wide space, but its depth is not very deep. Then, we have another pool which is smaller, but whose depth is much more suitable for the enjoyment of adults, and if you ask me it is my favourite because there is not so much presence of children, in fact that day we had it all to ourselves 😌. |
También tienen un área tipo zoológico, donde puedes hacer un recorrido y ver especies como guacamayas, cabras, gallinas, ponis, cochinos, tortugas, monos, entre otros...Lo que me gustó es que las áreas verdes están muy bien cuidadas, por lo que a donde sea que mires podrás disfrutar de una hermosa vista.
They also have a zoo type area, where you can take a tour and see species such as macaws, goats, chickens, ponies, pigs, turtles, monkeys, among others... What I liked is that the green areas are very well kept, so everywhere you look you can enjoy a beautiful view.

| Como el sitio tiene restaurante decidimos almorzar allí, solo que deben tener en cuenta que es algo costoso, pero les puedo asegurar que la comida es deliciosa. Nosotros elegimos comer sopa de pollo con carne, cachapa con queso de mano y cochino frito, una comida bien criolla. | As the place has a restaurant we decided to have lunch there, but be aware that it is a bit expensive, but I can assure you that the food is delicious. We chose to eat chicken soup with meat, cachapa with hand cheese and fried pork, a very creole meal. |
Lastimosamente no pudimos aprovechar todas las actividades recreativas porque comienzan a partir de las 3:00pm, y ya a esa hora estábamos preparándonos para regresar, pero les recomiendo que se planifiquen para que puedan sacarle el mayor provecho a este lugar. Si vienen a Monagas, no se pueden perder el visitar la "Estancia Los Potros"😉
Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of all the recreational activities because they start at 3:00pm, and at that time we were already getting ready to return, but I recommend you to plan ahead so that you can get the most out of this place. If you come to Monagas, you can't miss a visit to the "Estancia Los Potros"😉.

Que rico ♥️🙌😍 Me encanta este tipo de planes, se ve muy lindo el lugar, que pena que se tuvieran que ir. Aquí donde vivo pasa igual, cuando más rica está la playa debemos irnos porque así son las reglas.
Si tienes carro te puedes ir al final de la tarde y disfrutas de todas las actividades que ofrecen. Ellos antes tenían también servicio de traslado gratuito, pero por el tema de la situación del país tuvieron que quitarlo.
Que bellísimo lugar!! Ideal ara relajarse y pasarla de 10!! Me encantó el espacio de la anteúltima foto, es hermosa!😃
Hay muchos fotógrafos que hacen sus sesiones ahí, porque la verdad es que el espacio está hermoso por donde se vea ☺️. Es algo costoso, pero vale la pena darse el gusto.
