Seasons greetings everyone, yay! It's that favorite time of the year for almost everyone when most of us would be looking forward to having a fun holiday period, for most people it is just right before Christmas, while for some others even earlier than that but for me it's usually no break for me, my job as a fashion designer keeps me most busy this period, the order from clients usually extends even beyond the year, I'm thankful for this business boost privilege though stressful and always time-consuming without time for family especially this period but it wasn't always like this.

Before I dived into this profession, holiday seasons was always a fun time for me to relax and bask in the euphoria of the season, my childhood holiday seasons were particularly the best seasons of my life for so many reasons, I get to meet family members I haven't seen the whole year either being visited by them or we do the visiting, trips to the village though a long 12 hour trip yet we enjoyed having this trip as a family, spending the holiday period with my cousins, aunties and uncles whom i've missed so much was never a dull moment, my cousins and I would always have one mischief to involve ourselves in, lol, another aspect was the new sets of clothing's, shoes our parent always got us this season which we like to refer to as Christmas cloth, my mom would measure to know how long our leg has grown with a broomstick, which she takes to the market for the shoe shopping , and the most satisfying part was the lots of different food and drinks ready to be served, oh, the good old days, not now where everything is so damn expensive, we don't travel often anymore during the holiday because of the high transport cost, everything, including the holiday is now on a limited budget to avoid going broke in the new year, most people still fall victim though, the reason January is usually seen as the longest month in the year.

Though I already have lots of jobs lined up for the remaining days of the year, I wouldn't cheat myself this time by not having a part in the holiday, I plan to try and meet up as many orders I can finish before December 25th, and that's when my holiday starts, Not lots of going out though as I would mostly be indoors or probably at my parent's house relaxing and allow myself to be pampered this holiday season, spend quality time with my family, laugh out loud and eat till I can't eat again, yes, I plan to add some flesh this holiday hehe, I've worked so hard this year, I deserve that bit of rest as we await the new year to start all over again and hopefully it is a better year for us all.
