Having financial freedom
Being financially free is what most of us truly desire , but sadly, we still strive to achieve this stage of living, some will say due to low income, high cost of things , or not just being able to meet up with your goals financially.
Have you ever just one day look at your account details and wonder where all the money you had some few days, week, or month all went to, I've also numerous time see myself reflecting on what I spent money on and felt bad when I don't have enough fund or nothing left at times. This leaves me to get to know more about how to become financially free.
What is Financial freedom?
Finiancial freedom can mean different things to different people, for some it may be having enough savings, investment and cash to be able to fund their desired lifestyles, while some they aim at retiring well.
How can we become Financially free?
- Budgeting
Planning your income is one of the very first steps to attain financially freedom , there are apps design ed to help us out in this regard, we can also write it out in a notepad, it helps you keep track of your spending, know your spending limit and how to divert the neccessary fund to your basic needs, this way, you are able to take charge, and stay disciplined on your spendings so you won't end up finding yourself reflecting on what you've been spending money on later.
- Savings
Develop a saving habit out of your income no matter how little, most people will say about 20% of your income, but you know best what you earn and the best percentage to save, this can also come handy during emergency situations beyond your control, instead of running around looking for how to raise funds, your savings can actually save you.
- Stay debt free
You are not free if you are a debtor, so it's advisable to pay up your debts and try as much as possible to stay of loan, especially if the need for the loan is not for good investment purpose.
Increase your stream of income
We know how needs and wants increases everyday, also the cost of things in the market, having just one average stream of income can hinder you from being financially free, one of the ways to earn more is by improving our skills, this way there is a chance to bring more growth to our self, the more income, the more savings and you can definitely be on your way to be financially free.Invest
You should have an investment plan against the future, it keeps you secure, also spending on things that brings more income is a good way of investing instead of spending on liabilities that still feeds off your income. Lastly,
- Be a minimalist
Try to spend lesser on things you can afford, don't spend on things above your reach, your lifestyle too should be same, mostly spend on what is really needed, not what you desire, I hope you understand.
When you are finiancially free, the desire to live the way want, that is your goal lifestyle can be achieved without you worrying about how much you have left in your account, you are free to do what you want and enjoy doing at your own convenience.
Being financially free should be our goal, hopefully following these tips with our determination and work, it can help us fast track that goal and live the way we truly desire.

I love this aspect, if we learn how to spend within our means, we won't run into trouble or debt. This is a great point and I learned from this.
Nothing can be compared to a financially freedom life.
Thank you for this amazing post #Popped in from Dreemport#
I'm glad you liked and learnt something from this post,
Thank you for stopping by sir.
You welcome my sister
My recommendation is to save 50-75% of your income and then once you build up your passive income you can slowly increase your spending incrementally.
Nicely stated, as long as it works for you, like I wrote, it depends on the amount you actually earn, if you can survive on 50-35% of your income, then so be it
Thanks for stopping by.
