Good morning everyone,

The title of this piece is Whisper of Peace. I’ve been quite sick for the past few days and I made this piece as a form of comfort to myself. The piece is an expression of serenity and connection. It shows the gentle profile of a woman’s face drawn using the scribbling style. The lines, seemingly chaotic come together and harmonise to form a vivid portrait. A dove, the universal symbol of peace delicately perches on the bridge of her nose conveying a message of comfort and solace, as though it’s whispering calm into her soul.

The harmony between the woman and the dove shows the connection between human and nature. I use this piece to encourage us(including myself) to pause, breathe and find our own sense of balance admits the turmoil of life.

The drawing was done on the sketchbook app on my iPad with the help of my Apple Pencil.
