Connected at home, living a virtual relationship, and forsaking a real one.

For these people, it is not at all an act of adultery or infidelity since they do not meet, and it is simply a friendship on the net. But as time goes by, these people find themselves devoting a lot of time to this virtual relationship rather than their marital relationship and leading a parallel life.

For them, it is a way to break the routine of the couple's life and that they are innocent because they are aware and even say that their virtual life partner knows about their marriage.

But their addiction worsens daily, and their marital life is in danger. It can lead to a separation or divorce; if the other partner discovers this relationship, it is complicated for them to accept feeling cheated and betrayed.

Some couples continue to live even after discovering the virtual secret life of their partner. Maybe because they have done the same thing or not to be alone or for their children, but with the help of a specialist, it will work.

For this reason, communication in a couple is essential and primordial to continue living in peace and serenity. By talking, you can understand each other and know the expectations of each other and find solutions and ideas to improve the quality of your private and marital life.

It is the person you promised to respect and cherish before God, so you must keep your promise.

It is the intention behind the action that makes the difference if your intention is pure you are creating friendships which is a normal human thing to do.

It is when there is a hidden agenda it becomes a problem.

My wife knows she can trust me in the presence of women when she is not around and i can trust her around men with out that the relationship is already broken and will probably fail anyway.

Communication and respect with your spouse is what makes a marriage or relationship work.

I spend most of my day connected to HIVE, but I always explain to my wife what I am doing and why I am doing it, communication is super important, sometimes it consumes so much of my time that I forget my marital commitment, I think it really is a problem, reading your post I have to improve on that, thanks for sharing your reflection.

I don't think people I am friends with online are any more virtual than the pen-pals of old, nor are the relationships=connections I have with them. Cheating on your spouse is certainly bad, but doing it online doesn't make it any worse, and a lot of friendships are simply friendships, online and off! Communication between spouses is important, yes, but so is communication with others. Imagine a married couple who never talk to anybody but each other - how many days until they have nothing more to say, because they have no input from the rest of the world?
